pics or link to race ramps?

A word of warning, this is not the cheapest option, but I don't mind spending some cash on quality products.

Race Ramps - Car Ramps and Trailer Ramps.

I bought mine through Adam's Premium Car care. It was the best deal for a Canadian, they have 15% off anything in the e-store until August 14.

Crabs from Angelina Jolie and her girl friend, I would refuse to accept as well.

Wait you said free. I think this would cost bucks.

I was thinking NISMO because I don't want something too loud- it just attracts more attention... "Look this way officer, hear that? I'm driving fast!" :p

But a little more would be nice. :)

Maybe the Stillen, I am liking the tone of that one. The ARK is nice, too!

That one sounds good too but I can't get the FI because I already know it attracts the police... :p

Of course you wouldn't say the NISMO underperforms other cat-backs, you're trying to sell me one. ;)

Kidding, dude, I'll keep that in mind, thanks!

No problem Mr.Davey, BTW, what is your budget on the CBE?? The Nismo is nice of cause, but the other option ie ARK Grip, F.I., they sounds VERY nice and the price is much lower than a Nismo, and you can use the extra funds to have some other mods done...

The ARK has a nice deep drone but not loud at all.. and the axle-back style adds some agressive accent to the butt of the Z... you may consider other options beside sticking with Nismo...

hey there, mr.alcheg - thanks for all the suggestions. while i could give the wife my dd hypothetical cvt impreza-hatch in 2yrs, i think having an AT car to drive all through winter with my G&Z (both MT) hibernating in the garage is going to suck big time. i just hate AT. :eekdance:

yah, ive had 2 subaru's ive bought brand new and both had factory build problems. one was bone stock, AT (i got it for the wife), and it was so unreliable i decided after 3yrs when the warranty was up, to just sell it and get the FitSport since i had such success with previous honda's (except for the 06 civic EX i had built in ohio :icon14: was in the shop for a week for warranty repair under 1k miles).

ms.blackcherry - :hello: :icon17: ive been pretty transparent about this dd search this time. she's aware of all the cars ive looked at or test driven. i think this is wat she feels out of the few left on my short list.

my goal is to keep this dd for 5yrs minimum:

Impreza hatch cvt - 0% confidence i will keep for 5yrs.
Impreza hatch 5MT - 50% confidence i will keep for 5yrs.
FitSport MT - 60% confidence i will keep for 5yrs.
MS3 - 70% confidence i will keep for 5yrs.
Juke - 80% confidence i will keep for 5yrs.
Sonic - 100% confidence i will hate it in 1wk. :bowrofl:

:icon18:

Mr.kenchan... mmm... didn't know the experience you had with Suba was that bad... :shakes head:

I understand your worry cause it's very similar to my experience with the bimmer... and I stay away with bimmer since then.... :shakes head:

Sounds like the FitSport and Juke are the choices now... Sorry.. I'll just rule out MS3.. :icon17:

But didn't you say the cargo space of the Juke is kind of small??

:icon18: :icon18: @ the sonic.... and I am surprised about your tolerance of giving it a week...!! LOL

just got back from almost 3 week sin asia yesterday. woke up to find birds had left 15 little present son my hood this morning so I gave her a wash. Noticed a few orangey stains (I think from tree sap?) and also some major curb rash on my front driver's side wheel. Not sure how that happened since that' not the parking side. It's also weird because the direction of the scrape is not in the direction of wheel rotation but, more perpendicular to the edge.

Anyone know any ways to remove those orange stains? Would getting a full detail do the trick?

onzedge 08-10-2012 11:24 AM

Howdy, Mr. Alcheng.

happy friday to you too, mr.alcheng! hope business is good over the weekend for more mod $$. :yum: yah, my G's all dirty too from rain. oh well. i dont mind it too much. since it's windy today i will probably just do a sprayon-carwash deal when i get home tonight. :)

yah, my subi ownership experience have been honestly 'terrible' as far as support from my subaru dealershit.

lol@ auto-deleting MS3. :bowrofl: yah, the juke's cargo space is very small and the rear seat footwells are cramped. :( those are the two areas i will have issues with. but the driving dynamics is very good, memorable.

i think someone wanted me to try out the other cars before getting the fit. when im ready (per whoever) then i will be allowed to the dealership.

actually the silver MT is at a different dealership, so i am safe! ... maybe? :ugh2:

welcome back bruce. the orange stains can be taken of with clay + lube. not sure about the scrape on your wheels. since it appears to have been parked outdoors, could it have been the landscapers (landscrapers? :icon14:) they always f- with my car unintentionally(?) at the office. i hate it.
