Went to the cruise night and a 1/2 hour later it was a downpour. The sprint car driver I crewed for was there and was quite impressed with my ride  It was a nice but short cruise night.

Not rain! *gasp* :-p

Mighty I'm getting tired of washing this car every freakin time I take it out. :shakes head: I just got it cleaned up from the weekend downpour(and trophy winning).

I need an ionizing shield around the car. Any water molocules would be vaporized and anything left would fall to the ground away from the car.

I keep hearing all good things about the Fit. You see a number of them around here in my part of Germany. Its a good machine. Close that deal!!!
Good day and weekend to all. Nice day here. Will be motoring the mighty Z later on this evening after the rush hour is over. That will start my happy hour! :driving:

Good morning! I had a great night watching my sump pump work. So glad I had it installed, I only had a 3'x6' puddle 1/2" deep instead of completely flooded basement. :ugh2:

Tip: When the plumber says you don't need to plug your floor drain because the storm sewer "shouldn't" back up into it... Plug it anyway, because when you get a foot of standing water in the street, things that "shouldn't" happen, happen. :ughdance:

BTW... I love my ARK, and F.I. is a good one too... right Ms.Pint?? ;)

Many thanks for that, sir! Very handy.

I was thinking NISMO because I don't want something too loud- it just attracts more attention... "Look this way officer, hear that? I'm driving fast!" :p

But a little more would be nice. :)

Maybe the Stillen, I am liking the tone of that one. The ARK is nice, too!

Don't be an old fart, go with the FI!

That one sounds good too but I can't get the FI because I already know it attracts the police... :p

Of course you wouldn't say the NISMO underperforms other cat-backs, you're trying to sell me one. ;)

Kidding, dude, I'll keep that in mind, thanks!

So the small rubber section on the springs I bought is ripping on at least 2. What's the point of this section and do I really need it? I'm a noob remember.

I don't know much about 370Z springs specifically but I'm guessing that these are progressive or dual-rate springs (less space between some coils, just by physical appearance.) These work out so that some of the coils end up compressed and touching under normal load and expand to keep the spring positioned when the springs are unloaded (like when you take it over some sweet jumps.)

If that is the case then the rubber is there so the springs don't clank when they compress and touch as the suspension is loaded/unloaded in regular driving (speed bumps, things like that.)

:( sorry to hear. time to go back to stock.

:bowrofl: NEVER!!!!!

This one actually got messed up in the process of fixin the last blown gasket. My buddy accidentially ripped it a little upon re installation. I knew it was only a matter of time before it went. I am quite sick of replacing exhaust gaskets though. I called the ERZ/CNT, the makers of my test pipes, to order the proper gaskets instead of making my own again and they told me they dont sell replacement gaskets:icon14: WTF!!!! So Ill be making my own once again, ugh.

Good morn everyone. Its gonna be a stormy Friday here in the North East. Kinda sucks because now my hot tub installs for the day will be cancelled and Ill have to sit around the store all day. Sitting around the store is the WORST!!

Oh I wasn't saying it outperforms anyone.. I was saying its cheap :P

:iagree: Mr. Fire is correct this time. Swift used to send the rubber piece with the spring, but stopped this practice because they do not think it is needed. I got this directly from the good folks at Swift.
