Good morning and greetings from the lake at Battle Lake, MN. I am disappointed because the town grew by a little more than 100 people since my last visit and its population is now around 860 or so – a virtual metropolis. So I am checking in while waiting for folks here to get ready for the day. Obviously, I have no Z plans today.

On a different, and personal, note, today -- July 26 -- marks a milestone for me. It was 12 years ago today I took my first step on the path of living a sober and clean life. Since then, it's been one day at a time working on my "second chance" at life. Not always easy or simple, but always worth it. Thanks for reading and have a great day.

Good Morning, Mr. Onzedge. I'm sorry to hear the thriving metropolis of Battle Creek, MN is just too much for you :icon17:

Congratulation on the 12 year anniversary! :tiphat: That path is a difficult one that not many people are able to walk, and you should take pride in your accomplishment. Simply inspiring

Morning everyone else :hello:

On a Z related note, I am heading to work in a few. I did not get a chance to look at my weird rattle last night, but it hasn't happened again... yet. :ugh:

Thanks. I'm like a kid on Christmas eve with excitement.

Even after my tune, I don't think I'll be quite ready to take you on at the track. (wow look at all your mods!!!! (Your Z must drive like the friggin' Bat Mobile!!!)

 Morning guys. At some point I need to catch up on who's doing what.

Congrats, honorary dad, on your 12 years sober!

Hi Alchemy, Alcheng, Happy, JAR, Onze, Kenchan, Gale, LunaZ and everyone else!

LunaZ 07-26-2012 08:26 AM

Since it's filthy from my Silverstone-esque drive around Baltimore's beltways last weekend, I think I'll take it to work today.
I do actually enjoy driving in the rain.

Just received a nice message on my profile: "Why don't you come out as ghey?"
Seriously? Thought I'd logged into the Ford Ranger Forum by accident :roflpuke2:

I really, really like. I have been in search of a set sorta half heartedly for a little bit now, but after seeing that? I'm all :yum:

happy- no spacers needed especially at stock height. running factory nismo size tires 245/40/19 and 285/35/19. :)

Ken, NISMO wheels  What happened to your Weds???

hey there alchemy- still got the weds. going to swap them out with supersports down the road (will sell the DW's with 95%+ tread left for cheap) and use them again. basically will swap back and forth every season.

I pulled mine (its an 09, so totally necessary) and now the passenger side child-seat airbag/sensor/disable function does not work. On the other hand, as long as you don't put kids up there, its the only thing I can detect that is adversely effected.

Also the mod it a *totally* easy one, even for non-mechanical guys like me if you decide to take it on yourself. I see most ppl have the steering lock motor failure at about 30k miles or so. 500 bucks plus a tow! Sheesh!!!!

Good luck. Have fun. The build and getting to know the guts of your ride is half the fun.

hey surf- im  what are we talking about again with this CB?  huh?

and GJ on the steering lock bypass. did you snip the brown wire, or get the harness, or pulled the fuse? :)

huh, so if you get a fire call drive your car out there instead of your firetruck and nature will take out the fire while you watch. :icon17: ;)

it's been raining here too. my G looks like she drove through a septic tank. :crying: well, if normal folks saw it, they would say 'your car's sooo clean.' :icon17:
