onzedge 06-28-2012 11:16 AM

What's wrong with Mr. Alcheng's car? My work schedule this week has messed with me keeping up with the forum.

I'm really itching for a house. I want a 2-car garage and a portable Dannmar lift so bad.

I have a 3 car garage and it's not big enough. Mind you, I'm one of the few who actually use the garage to park my vehicles in it. I almost pulled the trigger on a pit lift.... Now I'm going to check out the portable lift you're talking about.

im starting to get tired and may just pass the idea all together. you know, kinda like when looking for a car you do alllllllll the research and by the time you got everything you need to know, you're tired and just say f- it. :rofl2:

thanks on the grandma wrinkly technique. :icon17:

watz up, pint!

hahaha, V1 is your friend. :icon17:

in other news, i found a security camera i want to use on the porch to replace my existing one...so placed my order last night. should have it mounted and working tomorrow. i think the larger one im going to put it on a tripod and place it in front of the porch door. lol a good way to say :gtfo2:  :rofl2:

Hello Everyone :hello:

It's been an intense morning and I still have tons to go after.... stressful when busy, but also graceful when it is busy.. :icon17:

just got off the phone with the service manager, I don't bother with the adviser anymore cos it seems all he can do is a big smile and jokes with me... :ugh2:

The problem originate back to a TBA regarding the window and the soft, there is this manufacture-defect that the power window doesn't drop and move forward far enough thus the window is rubbing against the soft-top every time the door open and close thus making a hole/damage to the soft-top.

They suppose replace the soft top and adjust the movement of the windows of both side to fix the problem.....

first they tried to repair the damaged part of the soft top... which later on we found out the top has to be replaced and we are going to replace it before the Winter (Oct).

the worst part is adjusting the window... they never be able to get it adjusted properly... either the windows is adjusted too low thus wind noise and water leak, or it is too high(which is what's happening with the driver's side right now) thus the window will drop halfway after it's auto up, looks like they adjust the window too high when it's closed so it hits the stopper thus the controller makes the window roll down, plus it has this weird noise when it hits the stopper...... :shakes head:

To make it worse, it only happens intermittently, they actually fixed it 2-3 weeks ago and I was satisfied.. however... the problem came back again and well..... :shakes head: :shakes head:

Gonna go there again next Wed... work with the tech and the manager together... I hope we just need to adjust the window about 3mm lower than what it is now, then it should be fine....

Now, the good stuffs.... Ordered white bulbs for maps, vanity, trunk and plate!!

At least there's some high for me, hahahaaa!!!!

O.F.C.!!! <=== Anyone Still Remember?? :icon17::icon17:

It's a really nifty setup. Stows away when you're done with it.

The only downside is it's not a full lift so while under the car you've got to be on a stool and be mindful of your head, but it sure beats four jack stands.

If I can fit a full lift (and the HOA allows it) I'll opt for that. But this is a great solution for a typical home garage.

Go for it and screw those goose-stepping, glassy-eyed, clipboard-carrying, armband-wearing, tongue-clucking, finger-wagging, lifeforce-sucking, no-life-having HOA people. That's what I think.

:iagree:

Though most of the time they do a good job at preserving the neighborhood. Like when they stopped my next door neighbor from painting her house purple. :bowrofl:
