Do you think the LCD is worth skipping then? I always hate how I have to guesstimate the aim when I'm mounting my GoPro...

honestly i would still get the gopro bacpac LCD. it's worth it.

It makes sense for you to do the composite cable. I thought the WiFi adaptor would be awesome, really completing the package but it's kind of useless until the app is released.

yah, also if it's wifi, what are you going to do if there is no wifi connection? and if it's bluetooth, then im not sure if BT can handle that much data...? maybe for still pictures and time lapse it might work. wat if you have more than one gopro? how are you going to monitor both?

i think the best approach is to get the bacpac LCD for quick setup/confirmation + composite cable and hook up to an external LCD device as needed. you can buy cheap 3.5" ~ 4.3" LCD's for rearview cameras on amazon for like $30 if you dont have a HU with LCD. just plug in, setup your camera, remove cable and lcd and toss it in your gig bag.

Hey Fire, Congrats on the award!!
Is that a Gallardo beside your Z??

Nope those are TF3 Bumble Bees. From right to left they are how they placed in the judging. 3-4-5. In our class of about 45 cars.

here's the latest on my gopro mount. i got rid of the universal joint cause it was just a pita setting it up each time i accidentally bumped it.

in this pict it's using three 1cm thick collars inside the DiNoc. ive been using 4cm from the headrest bar to the bottom of the gopro tripod mount (passenger seat reclined 5 clicks), but it's not letting in enough light to reduce exposure on sunny days even with spot-metering turned on (roads appear washed out) pointing at the top of the 3 gauges/hood; so over the weekend i took off all 4 collars to see if that helped... and it did.

but the height and angle was too low for my preference, so i raised it 3cm and spot-metering at the top of the 3 gauges/hood. will try this weekend. if the roads are still washed out, i will take out one of the collars to make it 2cm and so on. :p

Hope you get your parts and your frame gets returned to it's original settings. :driving:

It never ceases to amaze me how many of my big clients look like they've been pulled right off the street. Proof again that you can never judge a book by its cover!

you really can't. in my area good looking girls/guys dress up and all walk out to their pos junk cars and living paycheck to paycheck. :rofl2:

got this thing for f-day (one of several things) and it's really handy to hold little bits like mics and stuff on tripod.

originally made for holding smart phones but doesnt work well with my Droid4. once i clamp down, the screen thinks im pressing the area. but for holding mics
