GT Haus Meisterschaft EXHAUST - 1st mod

Hello everyone!

My first thread here, I have been in the shadows for a while and so I got my first jap, first nissan, first manual! Im coming from a 2010 MINI cooper S, which i loved but now there are bigger and better things! A base PW on black 370z. I LOVE IT, it is my dream car! Everyone on here seems very cool and im happy to now be a part of the community on here.

So, I didn't plan on getting an exhaust so soon but I came across a sweet deal and I think I'm going to go for it! Its a "GT Haus Meisterschaft EXHAUST" just the muffler and the guys saying it has only 200 miles on it since he sold his car and got an evo. Supposing it is in mint condition, is it worth $1100? I spoke with the guys at Meisterschaft and they said it should be legit.

:ughdance:

I would really appreciate some thoughts, should i go for it? I have done research and everyone seems to like it from what I have read.

Best,
Vick

Do me a favor and edit your post and take out that first jap bullsh1t. Have some respect.

If its just the can? $1100 for it is good as long as the miles are under 12k. Otherwise I would try a little lower.

Gauge 06-01-2012 08:28 PM

I got the entire system for 1600 bucks. Just adding that for perspective. Also this exhaust is well built, quality materials, and sounds sick as ****.

bleufiend 06-01-2012 09:43 PM

Why is he not selling the entire system? Did he just purchase the muffler?

370z. 06-01-2012 09:54 PM

He just had the axle back with a custom mid pipe...said he paid 300 for the custom mid pipe and will give it to me for an extra $100...say that it made it much louder...

so overall good deal?

@gauge
you got the whole cat back system for 1600? used i'm assuming?

Gauge 06-01-2012 10:00 PM

Yes that is correct, I think 2000 miles on it.

Sweet dude thanks so sounds just about right for the backend? It should be the most expensive part of the exhaust I assume. ($1500 + shipping from haus)

... Leaving the house to pick it up now. :driving:

I'm in love with my Z 10x more now! :ughdance:

:iagree:

I have the GTHAUS full CBE (axle, mid, and y) and it can be ear bleeding up above 5-6k rpm. But sounds beautiful under that, such an exotic sound.

Also, in your video you call the 370z "useless" without an exhaust. Just curious what makes it "useless" considering the axle back piece does nothing for the car from a performance stand point?

Overall, congrats on your new hardware

+1....... :iagree: The Meisterschaft exhaust is awesome. I have the full cat-back exhaust & no complaints on my end.

Gauge & hansoac, why don't the two of you show some pics or videos of your Meisterschaft exhaust.

370z. Welcome & congrats on the Z & section 3 (rear muffler) of the Meisterschaft exhaust. Try to post some pics & videos.

Heh I can try to grab a video later tonight I guess. It is amazing how much louder it sounds as cat back. His sound quiet compared to mine lol. I havn't had time or money to do anything I've wanted to do since getting the exhaust. I REALLY need to get a tune. Switched to 93 and got this exhaust so I should see a small gain. Plus I've heard a tune can really help throttle response and I'm getting very aggrivated by mine :/

Sort of been waiting to get some test pipes to tune though as my county doesn't have emissions testing.

I recorded a video this weekend. I am not satisfied with it though because it was very windy, so the wind cuts out some of the true sound on the exhaust.

I was curious if you had any videos since everybody ask once you already have an aftermarket exhaust especially if you have the Meisterschaft exhaust. So what octane were you running before 93....hopefully not unleaded (87)? Do you have other mods besides the Meisterschaft full cat-back exhaust? I would kind of assume so if you plan on getting a tune, but if not then wait until you get a CAI.

my thought is you are a ******* for writing jap. Again, you should show some respect and realize that's offensive as hell.

Might not be the thought you were asking for but you were not specific.

I was running 91, also no other mods beside the exhaust. Only reason to get a tune is because people want numbers, and the only way to get numbers is to do exhaust only tune.
