Here's some pics guys...

I am getting sponsored by AEM intakes:tiphat:, they are installing a full kit next Monday. I'm assuming that it will make my exhaust tone a bit louder.

Cool...... I would personally wait until you get another mod b/c if you get a tune now & later on you decide to get a CAI, then you will have to get another tune.

Yes but if I don't do it, no one will. And people will constantly complain that there is no charts for this exhaust. I'm going to do it just to give to the community so to speak.

:icon18: Let them complain & let them be the fool to pay for it. You do have the full cat-back exhaust (all three sections)? As I have stated GTHAUS states that their Meisterschaft full cat-back exhaust will give you 20-30hp. Since you are very determined to-do so by getting your car dyno, then please keep us informed.

Nice pics. So how do you like the Meisterschaft rear mufflers on your car now? I'm hoping you can tell a big difference in sound.

Yeah I really do love it, I'm actually happy it's not as loud as I thought it would be. There is absolutly no drone, just a sexy as hell exhaust tone! I'm sure that I will get that extra purr from the intake  ...if not I can always get a mid x pipe or something but I'm sure it will be a good while before I get bored or the exhaust.

Side note, has anyone gotten sponsored? AEM basically want's a 2012, they are going to test fit everything ans will be keeping my car overnight. I'm pretty excited, this is the first time all my mods are happening so fast. :bowrofl:

Good to hear that your loving it. Not sponsored here. So how di you get sponsored actually?

Let me ask this since im just learning- What good is getting just the muffler instead of the full catback??? pros/cons. Seems like you still got the great noise that the Meisterschaft provides right?

zchristopher 08-06-2012 09:13 PM

i was thinking the same thing, muffler vs the whole cat back?

jlbrenne 08-07-2012 09:05 AM

bump

I started with JUST the muffler. It is definitely louder than stock. However, it is NO WHERE NEAR as loud as the whole cat back. I liked the sound of the muffler piece alone..it was great. BUT now that I have the whole CBE, I prefer that :)

I'm still trying to find out if berk test pipes or the motordyne ART resonated test pipes would be better with this exhaust. It's loud enough so the motordyne might help refine the tone... I'm not sure.
