This seems easy, but do I need to start the car before I take out the fuse? I'm asking this because when I turn it to acc or on position my steering wheel still cannot turn freely unless I started her. The wheel lock was JF000C.
Will it be safe to take out the fuse while the car is started?

Thanks

You don't need to start the car, just have it in ACC when you pull the fuse. Here is a complete set of steps to follow: http://www.the370z.com/nissan-370z-g...ml#post1775597

Can I take out the steering lock completely? Is it essential for the car to work, if people are disabilig the steering lock it doesn't seem like It evens needs to be in the car.

Installed the SL bypass. No problems noted. Car starts in the same manner. I did not notice any additional lag time.

Rear fog light will be my next project.
