it is on the other side of the battery by the fender in a pretty big black box that is pushed down by the fender secured by 2 black clips.

What Baer said, its on the other side (fender/tire side).
Depress the latch on the side to release and pull up, then reach to the bottom of the box for the two lips to press and lift the cover up.

lol yeah I read over a lot of threads but couldn't find a specific build date they started using the Rev C's. Anyways, I guess whether it's a Rev B or C it's trash. No negative side affects of pulling the fuse other than the car will be easier to hijack?

If they want it they will get it. I could put your car on 4 dollies in about 45 seconds and push the car into the middle of the street by myself. Best way to protect your Z is keeping it in a garage.

I've had my 09 370z for less than one month. I found this thread because I had the Yellow Key of Death last night. After towing to the Nissan dealer and being told it would be $1100 to replace the steering wheel lock, I took matters into my own hands in the dealer service parking lot.
I tried loosening and shaking the steering wheel up and down but that didn't help. I got the tire iron out of the hatch and beat on the lock module for a few minutes, pressing the start button every few seconds. Finally, the ignition went to Acc, and I knew I was golden. I popped the hood, removed the fuse box, and removed the fuse. Now it's as good as new! |

Its gone with or without the lock. Its not in the car anymore starting in late 2011. So the 12 and 13's are completely without. Its not a safety issue either. Its a useless system. Nissan deleted it for good reason.
