Comparing the center caps with the descriptive paper also in the picture, is disingenuous.

I'm surprised you'd post a thread on a public forum stating how you decided not to send center caps that you had pictured in a sale thread but never stated you weren't selling. Then went on to ignore your buyers inquiries (and admit to it openly) about the center caps and question why there's a dispute through paypal... Send the buyer the caps It'll be much cheaper for you to buy new caps then it will be to lose your money through a dispute on paypal. This is the reason why it's difficult to trust sellers on a forum....

The Law states that you can not assume what is in someone's mind...

" he knew " does not fly in the legal world if you showed him pictures of the wheels with caps on, and you never stated in writing that they came "without the caps".

So legally, you will be out of gas....

And as far as someone buying custom wheels ? They should come with the center caps.. They are custom wheels.. And no one buys wheels without the center caps..That , although not part of the legal issue, is strange at best.. Very strange and the guy is right..Should he have given you the opportunity to send the caps ? Yes , maybe, but from your post, You may have said "no way", and then you would still be where you are now...

But if you posted the picture with the caps, and you don't have a paper trail stating BEFORE the sale and DATED , legally , you are out of gas..
