Galeforce, which one is that? That looks pretty ballin'.
So far this one is my favorite... Attachment 47152 Sent from my iPhizzle using magic and new fangled science stuff |
It's the Password JDM version 2. Heavy at ~400 something grams. Engraved with the shift pattern on top. Fits my hand nicely.

Is there a black and red shift knob to match the 40th interior? I like the Password JDM but I don't want the silver color.
|
stockies are quite nice.... metal ones get too hot in my tropical climate...
|
Yep stock is not bad at all.. I'm currently using the PWJDM (v2?) knob. Its pretty good for the price.

Tommy Kaira or GTFO.

Im on stock now but I like the TWM Shift Knobs...
|
yah, im still thinking about swapping mine out to the biggie TypeR in black some day. :yum: but not yet.

team voodoo pearl FTW!
http://www.the370z.com/members/edub3...shift-knob.jpg matches the interior PERFECT on these z's |
I'm going to have to go with the Password JDM or stock. The PJDM has great weight! Nismos looks cool, but I think a round top shifter is much more ergonomically correct and comfortable.
|
is there anything that's similar to the shape of the stocks? I like the shape, but... it's stock.
|
i want to compliment someone's knob, but that would be just too wierd... :ugh2: :wtf2:

I have a TWM and love it. It sat a little low and I have recently added a spacer to set it at the perfect height for me. The knob is satin and spacer is SS but I really like the contrast. I can always have them both refinished to match later on.

Fan of the Zele, for those with big hands/long fingers this is your shift knob. As wide as the TK shift knob if you are a top shifter but thick enough for the pistol grip shifters as well, just gets hot as hell during the summer so get some driving gloves. |
:bowrofl: Tommy !

quick question about shift knobs for a nooooooob
alright, so I know that a short shifter will quite clearly, shorten the throw, making it faster to shift gears because there's less travel. I've then read about various shift knobs, of varying weight, and how people comment on the different feel/feel of throw. for reference, how heavy is the stock Z shifter to an aftermarket product, and how exactly (or as close as possible) does it change shifter feel? |

+1........ :iagree: I like the CF one as well. If I was going to put CF, then I would go with the CF nob. Since I really do not have any plans to-do so, then this one is it for me too. |

its little mods like that that will seperate the feeling of driving your car from the feeling of driving any stock z |

I like any shift knob that doesn't have the potential to turn my hand into BBQ pork chops.
