I just did the math with the v8 sedan's weight and they have the power to weight ratio correct. They also have the price right, so only the picture is wrong. Still pure numbers don't tell the whole story, they forget to mention it's a big boat of a car that won't handle twisties for squat.
|
Boss is the best, but ugly as hell. I just never liked Mustangs besides foxbody kinda, challenger is just way to bulky but monster looking.
Am I the only one who doesnt like the looks of the Nismo? reminds me of some fast and furious type ish, but dam it probably drives pretty good but worse than a Genesis??? |
I also like the stock styling better than the Nismo, and this list is just Hp and weight numbers, no actual times or tests so it's pretty worthless.
|
this list is pointless

Good luck finding a GT500 or Boss Mustang for less than $50g's. Seems to me its all American cars because of their high horsepower figures. Factors such as torque and traction have no place on this list. Btw, the Genesis is not faster than the Z, sure on paper and bench racing it sounds nice but its not built well enough to out run the Z.

It has to be a friggin error. I mean, its the only sedan in a world of coupes. At least the wrting in the mag (V8/429hp) proves its the sedan. But hey guys. Its Forbes, Not R&T, sooo a grain of salt. They needa stick with what trump is doing with his money this month and leave cars alone. :ugh2::ughdance: |
By being on this list, Maybe they can sell more Z's.

Haha, I really don't know, but I figure it's a luxury sedan and not designed to handle like a sports car. It may handle alright, I just think this article is really useless.

I kinda dig the rspec sedan honestly. I have a soft spot for high hp sedans tho. I really need to research it more, being that it's marketed with the "r spec" badge, I would "think" that it has upgraded suspension, brakes, lsd etc so it might actually be pretty decent when the road curves. |
I didn't even know there was an r-spec. I didn't think they would have a sporty version of the Genesis sedan since they have the Genesis coupe which is supposed to be sporty.
|
hmmm, so upon further review, I suppose all I can say is the r spec sedan isn't terrible. But def not great, or good imo for that matter. Knowing Hyundai tho, just liek the current gen genesis coupe, I fully expect the next generation sedan to be a winner since it takes a couple generations to get it right and hyundai seems serious about making fun to drive competitively priced cars.
