I understand where your coming from. I havent had payments in years now and when I did I hated making them. I currently own a few cars so its not been a rush to ever get a car. My big thing that burned me is I was younger and my parents got a divorce and I had to move out and pay the bills before I was ready and my budget turned into week by week living and I hated every minute of that. Im far out of that now but still big items make me very nervous! I too make much more money now than I did when it happened but its like a crazy ex, you are very leary after that to go in at it again!
