at my dealership (the used car lot) they have 5 used 350's. no 370's. meanwhile on the road? other than mine, the longest ive gone without seeing another 370 is mmmm have to think.... 6 months. or more.

Z-Girl 12 05-01-2012 06:11 PM

Very rare in this area...I haven't seen one in a month. I love the rarety in this neck of the woods!!! People still stare at my car and this model has been out for quite some time. I never buy a car mid life or latter life. But because of its rarety I figured it would be a good bet. No regrets.

brucelidat 05-01-2012 06:14 PM

Getting one mid-life, or at least 2nd or 3rdyear works out sometimes. Let's them work out some of the kinks. No oil consumption or steering lock problems with my 2011. And you got an oil cooler in your 201 which is pretty nice.

DeEePiDDy 05-01-2012 06:22 PM

I see silver and platinum graphite ones all the time... I've only seen 1 other Chicane Yellow once in the past 2 years.. There's a black one in my neighborhood.. only seen a blue one twice..

EazyD 05-01-2012 06:24 PM

only at autocross

rich conover 05-01-2012 06:34 PM

ok.......living in a town that has high volume z's, I've seen one black and a few others, but considering the exposure with dealership, not much.....must be from out of town.

I didn't see many 350z's the first couple years they came out. Now I see them everywhere! I bet the 370z will eventually be the same way.

Spikuh 05-01-2012 07:14 PM

We actually have 3 Z's is little podunk Nac, TX. Mine, a white convertable with sports package and red base model. Never come across them on the road though.

I have noticed a very large increase in the number of 350z running around the college here. Most are not well taken care of. One of them is super riced out, so my friends and I call it super-hero.

I kind of doubt it. The 370z has sold a rediculously low number of units compared the 350z.

Drex 05-01-2012 07:33 PM

i see a 370 every day, mine :icon17:

actually can't remember the last time i saw another one.

THAT is why the Z is not seen as much as a lot of other cars, 2 seaters are NOT a car that a "responsible" set of newlyweds that plan on having a family would think about buying, I've outlined my reasoning on this subject so many times on this board that i'm not even going to go into it again, its very obvious "when" and "why" you can afford to buy and daily drive a 2 seater, lol.

Ya thats a BIG factor, especially in this area where most people store their Z for 4-5 months a year. Not everyone wants or can spend 35-40K on a car that can take one passenger, drinks gas and use 70% of the year.

I'm lucky, I talked my wife's ear about this Z so much that although we had a huge wedding and have a 5 month old son now...selling the Z is NOT on the table :driving:

In the Tampa area, I'm starting to see more and more pop up. I saw a grey convertible and a modded white coupe today. I saw a black Nismo sometime in the past week. Saw a black coupe as well yesterday.

As long as it's not at Lutz Performance...

Yours isn't a convertible, is it?

buddyZ 05-01-2012 10:45 PM

I see more 350z/g35 g37, barely any 370z and thats funny because i live in the heart of semi baller country, newport beach south orange county area.

JARblue 05-02-2012 01:35 AM

I didn't see any on the road for about 6 months in Austin (other than at a meet). I know of three in the neighborhood now - two of em showed up in last two months within 10 houses of mine!

Pauly 05-02-2012 05:45 AM

ive seen 4 in two months, and i have been everywhere from shreveport to new orleans. i know they have some, but rarely are seen "in the wild" lol. hey steve, do you get any love from other mustang drivers at lights or when you flash? i had a stang toot the horn and wave once when i was standing outside next to my Z.

UNKNOWN_370 05-02-2012 09:43 AM

The longest I gone without seeing a 370 was 3 months. But that was back in 2010. Now the longest I will go is about 3 weeks. Maybe 4???

Every weekend I drive from central Jersey to our Delaware home which is 180 mile one way. Rarely do I see a 370. On occasional 350 is spotted, but this past weekend there were so many Genesis coupes on the road ! I like having a car that isn't like everything else out there.

That is what I enjoy about mine too. I also don't mind adding a few extras to my Z to make it that much more rare. Today she is in the shop getting a sunroof installed.

icormba 05-04-2012 02:12 PM

hmmm, I see a lot of them in my area and they are not all the same ones. In fact I got a blue one because my neighbor already had a silver 370 and another lady has a gray one. I have seen several Nismos as well. Although I must admit that I have never seen a Roadster.

LakeShow 05-04-2012 04:43 PM

Does anyone ever really see white Z's? I never really seen one out of meets and car events.

DRFTSLT 05-04-2012 06:32 PM

I've only seen 2 Z,s in the past 6 months in WA state.

A white nismo lives in a garage below my apt.

I've seen 3 white Nismos and 2 sports models since I got my z in Feb. One of the sports at work, not sure who it is though.

oh, I think I saw my first Roadster (white) today driving down my street on my way home this evening, but I had to turn before confirmation... it could have been a white 350? It was about 100 yards in front of me.

Gauge 05-05-2012 09:05 AM

There is only one other 370Z in the entire madison area. I rarely see him though.

Where in DFW are you, in the Uptown/Downtown area I see a couple of them a day and when I'm in the Las Colinas/Valley Ranch area ditto.

370ZilverZ 05-05-2012 04:52 PM

I'm in mid cities and see 1 or 2 every other week. Mostly see 350's.

Coo, yeah down here there seem to be more of them. Heck more of every kinda car including high end stuff because of Turtle creek and Highland Park up the road, reminds me of home in S. Cal.

_ace_ 05-05-2012 11:46 PM

I see 370Zs now and then, and I think I've seen another nismo about once per 6 months (the same one). I've seen 2 convertible 370Z's.

Here in the Colleyville area, almost every other car you see seems to be a G37.

ALTN8NRG 06-26-2012 10:23 AM

I drive a lot and rarely see other 370 Z. I do see them, but not much. I wonder if people are just keeping them garaged.

Vbp6US 06-26-2012 05:37 PM

It's really awesome not seeing another 370z for long durations. Oddly enough, when I do see one I get excited.

One_Quick_Z 06-26-2012 07:24 PM

I was just in Dublin/Glasgow/London/Southhampton for the last two and a half weeks and only saw four 350's no 370's... But then again that is the land of 911's and Astons

Rare breed

Just returned from a trip to Mid Ohio Sports Car Course to attend a SVRA vintage sports car race. Saw a white 370Z in Canal Winchester,OH, several at Mid Ohio at the club area, and a white Nismo traveling east around Iowa City on my way back home. Pretty rare brand.....just the way I like it!

Corona370z 06-27-2012 04:14 AM

The longest for me was about 8-10 months, can't exactly remember. But I am also in Germany and there aren't many out here. But due to rarity, I love how it keeps turning heads. Seen people stop conversing to look as I drive by.
