Just about everything Bobo hates about modding cars, in here:
Hard parkers.

Its also supposedly a twin turbo - horsepower unknown to me, but it doesn't matter, its not like the rubber could even dream of handling it. Nevermind the air ride suspension. Ugg, all so dumb to me. Why even bother putting the turbo kit on it? Just leave it stock HP, its not like the tires could handle it anyway... |
Yep, not a big fan of that either. Talk about some wheels that are destined to be curbed.
|
Let me find some pics of overly stretched tires. Doesn't even reach the lip.
So damn ugly |
I can't stand super stretched tires either. Hopefully its just a fad, like spinners.

No offense to the west coasters on here, but hard parkers seem quite prevalent out there... |
Holy negative camber, batman!
Haha, one little bump in the road, and the front just mashes right into the flare... |

The rims actaully go inwards and up when hitting a bump. At first I thought major curb rash and fender rash....lol
I got a pic I saw where the rubber doesn't reach the lip, so the lip is hanging out alone....LOL Side walls of the tires are bent up, isn't that a safety hazard?? And do they over pressure the tires to fit like that?? |

Me, I can just take one look at the tires and with the understanding that tires aren't designed to flex like that, and know that its not particularly safe. Try this video - I cant access youtube at work, but this was found on a quick google: |
In the pic you posted. The walls are quite bent and it takes a good amount of pressure to do just that. Looks like a chopper's rear wheel, like a bubble.

When I look at those pics I can only say: Why??
It's just wrong |
|
So dumb.
|
yea....eh......i don't get whats cool about it...oh...well
|
wont the tire pop off the rim?

No... just no.

It seems everyone here(including me) unanimously agree those are hideous, got me thinking if there's a forum out there where everyone unanimously agree those are AWESOME!

It's VIP YO the new hawtness!!
seriously though this needs to stop. There's like a 60 page thread on one of the 350z forums arguing about who has the most stretch and tuck, I pray those people don't work their way over here. |
Why why why

The picture with the ripped tire tells you everything you need to know.
|
This sounds like a good criteria to run someone out of the forum.
They can stay at 350z. Like stretch? :gtfo2: |
they've been doing that in japan for a while now. some think its dumb others think of it as how aggressive of a wheel set up can i get on my car. i think it looks bad ***. not something for day to day driving.
|
FUGLY!
And stretched tires are so 1980's mini truck GHETTO! Don't do this! |
How could you guys hate on that? It looks mad dope that way! I'd sacrifice all and any performance if it makes the car look that HOT. You guys are all crazy and have no sense of style at all.

on the G37, 305 tires fit nicely, not stretched or pulled....what do you think??

Good catch. There was a thread about this on my350z and I put my two cents in. I got a reply that was somewhat similar to the "joke" I posted. |
That G37 shows you how wheels and tires are supposed to fit together. The tire actually makes it to the edge of the wheel, what a thought.
|
^^ yup, me like the real deal way
|
Is that your G, nogood?
Edit: never mind. You're in Montreal. That G has a FL plate. |
^^ lol....there's no snow around.....
|
That G37S looks tight!
