No mods for me for the time being...
|
Had a 240, 260, 300 and a 350 no mod "but" my 370 is starting with cat back, have the clear bra on now and maybe the flow...
|
Doubt i'll do too much to mine. Not that I don't want to, I just had a hard enough time convincing myself I should spend money on the z in the first place, much less mods. This will be the 2nd car ive owned for a couple months without at least doing some bolt-ons.
|
Z is my daily driver. I will probably never track it. I'm pretty sure most of the people on this site will never track their car.
I will still get all the bolt on's even though I'll never track it. |
I already tinted and clear bra'd so I am done with modding,
I am satisfied with how the car is stock, the only thing I am considering getting is an oil cooler :driving:, even though I will probably never track it I like to keep the possibility open. |
I typically make very few modifications to any of my vehicles. There are times that I’ll do relatively minor things (such as when I made the rear fog light on my 370 functional) and I’ll do very minor “dress up” things such as a Nismo billet oil filler cap, chrome valve stem caps, etc. and if I have a vehicle long enough that I have to start replacing things (brakes, exhaust, etc) then I’ll usually opt for something better than what came on the car. However, I rarely make major modifications to my vehicle; especially while it’s new/under warranty.
<o></o>I appreciate vehicles that have had major and well thought out modifications but let’s face it, modifications very often make a vehicle less reliable and making significant modifications to a vehicle essentially kills its resale value – most people wanting to buy a used car, especially a “performance” car want one that hasn’t already been modified. After all, the modifications one person makes will likely not be the same someone else might want and even if they are, how would the new owner ever know if the modifications were done well/right? When all is said and done, if I want better performance from my vehicle than it can offer in stock form, I’d rather go out and buy the car from the factory that gives me the level of performance I want rather than try to make the car I have something it’s not.<o></o> That said, to each his own of course! |
As long as this is my DD it's bolt-ons only.

Not doing too much with this car in comparision to my last cars. I do plan to track it occasionally so......

I've done the tint. I may eventually upgrade the speakers and amp with the Bose system, if that's even possible. If I get some extra cash I may put 20" wheels on it. I probably won't do much in the way of performance mods. I don't track the car.
I have a Harley that I have done a ton of mods to, but harley's come with cheap grips, pegs, levers, and so forth. You have to do some mods to a Harley. The engines are also choked up due to EPA regulations so you have to spend some money there. |
So much to do. I'll just say I have a lot of plans. Short shifter, oil cooler, brakes, etc.

LOL, nice. They're on that list somewhere.

I had the dealer install a clear bra. Also I have purchased but not yet installed Berk HFCs and may get a CAI. Nothing else planned for mods. Mine is a daily driver and I have no plan to track.

Nothing much for me. I want to change the hamburger emblems as soon as I can find something to replace them with! Mine is a touring, so I wouldn't mind finding some of the sport wheels and tires. Have tinted, but thats it.
