I tell everyone I signed an insurance clause stating no one else is covered driving the vehicle to insure my cheap rates of insurance. Therefore no one else can drive it because it won't be insured.

That doesn't surprise me... My wife really wanted a G37, but we knew we weren't going to push the budget that far. She still wants a G sedan, but I'm liking the whole one car payment thing we got going on right now. Not really interested in another car payment, especially if it's more than the Z.

Even if you actually did do this, anyone who has decent insurance of their own is covered if they drive your car. My insurance will cover any car I'm driving to the full extent of my policy (unless on the track :p).

2 things happened to me recently:

1) 3 sexy ladies pulled up next to me and got me to roll down my windows to tell me that my car was 'oh my gawd so hawt' and I was cute (naturally). I asked them how old they were and they told me.. 17. I had a pretty good feeling they were 16/15 so I left it at 'oh my gawd thx' and drove off. :driving:

2) I was at the mall chatting with my friend at her store.. and I saw a 15-ish kid checking out my car. He stuck his nose right up against my side window to look inside cuz it's tinted.. when I went back out I noticed he left a sizeable spot of SNOT on my window. SNOT. It was 'not' hawt. :icon14:

Side note - I've been looking at this emoticon for weeks. WTF is it supposed to be? A butt crack? A belly button? :icon23:

Yes, but 99.9% of the people get the point and not dig into it like people on an internet forum would. lol

The real reason someone came down and took pictures of your car was to add it to a list of prospective cars to steal, in a thieves data base for easy cars to steal.

Basically they take a picture of the car, note year make model, note exactly where its parked, location date and time. For when they get an order to steal one, like yours.

This is why its never really good to leave your car parked out in one location for a long amount of time.

All I get is the occassional "Hey man nice car" at the gas station.

The "Oh nice car..is it fast" from the girls at the gym if I park it up front. But I think someone just stole my thunder as another guy just got a brand new 5.0 yesterday and was showing it off. Hmm maybe I need to trade in already...not

And last and not least someone knocking on my window as I am about to drive off and its some old lady asking me for gas money to get home.....ummm how did you get to the store if you didn't have gas to get back?

Then there is the honda's trying to race me and/or cut me off if I don't.

Like it is my fault that I have money and they don't...

Thumbs down and shaking their heads....

They wonder why they have nothing and drive beaters ? I don't..

Their hate and envy have them trapped for life...

Crazy World.. I guess my celebrity moment is not a good one...Oh well..

I find the best response to that is:

i think this is true in some areas. in my case if my garage door is open and i see the same car pass more than twice within a short time (2-3min), they get vid'ed on my camera. i keep an old Flip camera in the garage. and i let them know they are being taped cause im standing there with my video camera panning at them while they pass by. usually they dont come back after that.

My Z story!

I was joining some friends for our weekly breakfast at a local cafe. (It's what retired people do) I was able to park my Black Cherry 370Z Roadster right in front of the cafe and as I walked in a couple had noticed the car. The guy was really interested and asked a ton of the usually questions, which I answered with enthusiasm as I always do to anyone who shows the interest. .... but his scowling really overweight wife look at my Z and at me and said very sarcastically "It looks like a Mid Life Crises to me"!!! Again, this woman was very sarcastic. I was taken back a little..... and responded: "why thank you so very much" I said, "I guess that means I'm going to live 140 years as I will be celebrating my 70th birthday in a few months"! Things got very quite until my friends started laughing and joking about my mid life crises car. Mid life crises! I wish! I love my Z, i love to drive it, and I love the positive attention it gets from almost everyone.

cuz she was a fatty & knew she could never fit in there. jealousy. I get that too from poorly employed peeps. they try hard to come up with criticisms to try to convince themselves that even with our riches they would still drive their ford focus and not buy our sexinesses.
