Pollen Haters???

So I spend 2 hours on my car this weekend washing and waxing and detailing only to come out the next morning to see it covered with Pollen. I hate it!!! Anyone else feel me on this??

:owned:---By Pollen!!!!!

My car hates the pollen, but my sinuses hate it more.

+1 & allergies :iagree:

Man sry to hear that. It is like when you wash your car & the next day it is raining for no effen reason.

ZCarMan 04-17-2012 03:58 PM

I invested in a California Duster. It allows you to remove all that pollen.

:iagree:

It will very easily wipe off without water and without scratching the paint... short of that buy a car cover... this year is supposed to be one of the worst in a long time... I am sniffling all day every day!

Hate seeing my car covered in pollen every morning. I have to park outside and underneath some trees so my car gets completely covered every day.

Keeping my car clean is a 2x weekly issue. I have that california duster for pollen dust etcand hit it with quik detailer afterward. At the end of a week I quik wax it. Unless it gets truely dirty then I wash n wax.

But oddly enough, the CY does attract a lot of bees.

Bucketlist2012 04-17-2012 05:05 PM

I finally cleaned out the garage..To fit the 370Z...The Z/28 has always had garage space..

I had a Pearl White 350Z that you could leaver outside. Now I have a 2009 Black 370Z..

Having two black cars will make you crazy..And a Dark Blue truck...

It was either clean out the garage or cut down everything for miles around..."scorced Earth" Policy....But I thought the neighbors would freak out..

TerribleONE 04-17-2012 05:07 PM

Pollen sucks.. however sap REALLY sucks

b1adesofcha0s 04-17-2012 05:09 PM

I'm lucky my work has a car wash I can use to get all the pollen off. Unfortunately, my car gets covered again as soon as I get home.

m4a1mustang 04-17-2012 05:11 PM

I try to use my duster as much as possible but sometimes it gets to the point where it has to be washed.

The CY must look like one giant piece of pollen to them!

Dsevast 04-17-2012 07:29 PM

Pollen does not really show up on my Pearl White. Rain spots don't show up either. My friend drives a black G35, and we have car wash parties and then go for a drive. When we get back his car is covered in dust. A freshly washed black car looks so sexy though!

Drex 04-17-2012 09:00 PM

my parking spot is right under a tree :(

i need to get a california duster

I had the same look last week!! Its bad here! :icon18:

m4a1mustang 04-18-2012 10:25 AM

Very light rain here today. Instead of washing the pollen off it's turning it into a nasty slurry of yellow and green.

Cmike2780 04-18-2012 12:53 PM

Just to add insult to injury, just remember what pollen really is...a bunch of trees jerking off into to the air and their splooge landing your car...Trees are a$$holes!

DWS44 04-18-2012 01:11 PM

Amen! I'm also a charter member of two other clubs that are rearing their ugly heads again for the season:

- The "People who mow their grass out into the road and just leave it there for me to drive thru"-Haters

and

- The "moron officepark groundskeepers who use string-trimmers and leaf blowers to clean the parking lot by blowing the grass/leaves/pollen/dirt/etc up onto the cars instead"-Haters

Uggh. :shakes head:

Amj2020 04-18-2012 02:37 PM

I have a black 370 so the lovely yellow pollen shows every single morning more and more. What I hate more than pollen....bird poop. I live at the beach and cringe every time a bird drops a crab or a dump on my car that stuff will ruin your clear coat fast because apparently the birds around here eat batteries.

Birds here on campus get food from the dumpster behind Taco Bell. Want to take a guess how fast that stuff will eat through your clear? :shakes head:

i looked out my window one day to see workers blowing leaves across the parking lot, through/under my car. :icon14:

when i went out to check on my car, i popped the hood and there were leaves all over the engine bay.

Pauly 04-18-2012 03:11 PM

If I saw that on my car, I would take photos for evidence then run away. I would then use those photos as my excuse to skip work/school :roflpuke2:

I love my Z but if I had that many bees on it, I'd let them have it.

Masa 04-18-2012 08:43 PM

If my Z was covered with bees...
