Fitment of Evo-R Carbon fiber license plate cover.

I am curious as to the fitment of the Evo-r license cover on the 370z roadster and on the Nismo rear bumper. Can you access the trunk release on both bumpers?

just got the part and the answer is NO! there is no hole for the trunk release button WTF!!!!!!!!
Damn you EVO-R any suggestions on how to get my trunk open if I install the part without drilling? |
Your joking right?

That's pretty whack
|
while i think that's a sloppy job by the manufacturer, wat's the big deal about drilling a hole?
just use a step drill bit and a file. then touchup the open wound with either clear coat or some black gloss enamel. |
I just hate the idea of having to drill through carbon fiber. The fitment is great and it looks beautiful..... so close, yet so far.
I found another trunk release button in back of the passenger seat that involves the actual car key. I'm using this for now. This is for a roadster , keep in mind. |
Well since the trunk release is blocked, does that mean that the license plate bulbs are blocked as well, making the car illegal to drive at night?

B) Just wait, cops will pull you over in no time. No lights in the rear are REALLY obvious. And IMO, that's 10 times ghettoer that there aren't cutouts for the lights |

B) my cheap LED replacements weren't staying lit when I originally installed them, so I went back to stock to avoid any hassles over it - I now have higher quality LED bulbs with secure connections that work great |
