Here is the bike. I doubt it would change the COG of the car even if I was going to go with a roof rack. Not like I'd be racing around with a bike on the roof anyway. All vehicles are multi-purpose. I use a motorcycle for commuting duty sometimes. Hell, I've used this bicycle for commuting when I lived closer to work. A couple years ago I put more miles on that bike in one year than I did on my car. http://s14.postimage.org/9ryjhc1sx/LOOK.jpg My other bike. :D http://s8.postimage.org/be9n6vi85/My_Bike_2.jpg |

Nice Ducati bike..... If ur looking to fit a bicycle in the trunk get a G37 bc it has more space & you can put the back seats down. I can care-a-less what will or will not fit in my truck of the Z. If I am going to put a lot of stuff in the truck, then I will use my Fusion.

You can fit 3 dead Snooki's in the hatch.

Ok the mexican thing was all in fun. Let's not get over-stereotypical with the washing n grass cutting. :ugh2: Maybe he can fit a bike rack on the multi-purpose Ducati. Lol. It is hot though. |
I ride a 2010 Specialized Roubaix Expert and while I haven't tried, I really don't think it'd fit in my Z.
It fits just fine in my XTerra 4x4 Off-Road, though :) I don't even have to take the wheels off! The Z has a good amount of room... for a sports car. I have to remove the driver and fairway metals from my golf bag to get the bag in the hatch, and then lay them diagonally across the hatch (and they barely fit). A case of wine will fit in the hatch pushed up towards the seats, but because of the slope of the rear glass, it's too tall to fit in the hatch closer to the rear of the car. If I didn't have another vehicle to transport bigger stuff in, I probably would've bought an STI with a roof rack instead of the Z. Nice Ducati, BTW. I ride a 2011 Speed Triple. Maybe I'll see you out on Palomar! |
I don't understand some posters. They get on and ask a question. Then, when they don't like the answer, they just do what they wanted to do anyways.

Nevermind. I don't mean to pick a fight or be argumentative. I'll just let this go. :D

wow, talk about digressing. the OP clearly asked whether or not a road bike could fit in the hatch of a 370z. it's a simple yes or no question. he wasn't being rhetorical. there's absolutely no reason to put any type of value-judgment on that question. he's not asking "should I," he's asking "could I". some people....
to the op: i don't own a 370z or a road bike, so I can't answer your question per se. but it seems like you've already figured it out. good luck with the purchase. |

My answer "the trunk." Salesman: "That's it!" I almost did not buy the car. If I can't get my weeks worth of groceries inside, what would I do? I asked for a waste can that approximated a paper shopping bag and found I could get about a dozen bags in the back. That is far more than I'd buy. The bottom line is that the Z rear has far more room than it appears. Still you can not call it roomy. |
