thanks, happy. yah, it was just a matter of time. i still need to find out if the mic polar pattern is going to work facing forward or aft. i want to make it facing forward, but then i will have a hard time reaching the power button on the rode mic. lol if i face it towards the rear, i think im going to get too much road noise, but i will be able to rid the shoe to pedal clunk noise i keep getting pre-launch. will have to play with it.

i will definitely continue using the gopro in my car. i want to get the steady-shot for the cameras i vid my kids. i can't get a clean steady shot while walking... kids are always moving around so i need the quick steady shot + decent audio without carrying other gear.

i ordered up a rode video mic pro. will see how that works on the gopro mic input, but the intended use for that mic is for my digital recorder. i need the cord to be isolated from the mic as the cord rubbing things gets transferred into the recording. the rode has isolators/suspension mounts so i am hoping it will take care of that problem. the rode comes with a 3/8 boom pole screw hole on the bottom of the hot shoe, so i needed to get the 3/8 to 1/4 adapter. :)

The cord-rubbing issue should be a big problem since the cord could be tied up, I am hoping you can solve the issues on your gopro from the audio-filter.

Thus I suggested you that noise cancellation mic this morning, it looks like a mono, but I think it will have sound to both L&R channels, for $20, no harm to try. :icon17:

Good morning all! :hello:

Yesterday was not a good day for me at all in terms of work. I blew out some settings remotely from another location that directly impacted two important switches, taking a number of important servers offline for an hour and a half. :crying:

Well, live and learn. Hopefully there isn't too much political blowback from it.

Good morning guys.

Totally meant to post last night but I came home to dead primary computer. No response at all, so I swapped out the power supply for one I know is good. Same thing... nothing. :icon14: It ended up being the damn power cord :shakes head: I have never had that happen before, and I sure wasted a massive amount of time swapping out PS.

Mr. GaleForce, this one's for you. :icon17:

Hello everyone. :hello:

Thank you sir :tiphat:

Now anyone know where I can find something similar looking to replace my gas cap? :icon17:

kenchan 06-07-2012 09:23 AM

JAR- not sure about the gas cap. :icon17: i like that there are holes in your oil cap where if it gets too hot or tight during an oil change, you can slot a screw driver to turn it.

my nismo one gets EXTREMELY hot so i have to wear my work gloves and crank it while looking like this (>_<) errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!! :icon17:

Hey there. There is nothing quite like preparing for a two-day proof of concept presentation with one hand. Dog bites = massive pain.
