Afternoon everyone! I'm at the dealership trying to get my car fixed. My seat is doing that popping thing when you take a turn sometimes, and the hatch doesn't always release on the first click. Trying to get it covered under warranty, and Milton, my service rep, just said that they can't duplicate any of the problems so it can't be fixed  so now I'm sitting here talking to the service manager trying to get it taken care of. Keep your fingers crossed...

Yay for the people loving you!

Are you driving with the kit on? :)

Looks like I'm taking my baby in to the dealership on Friday. Hope I don't fall in love with a newer version.

Oh hellz yeah! Ghetto I know, but it also helps show me any potential issues that I may have overlooked during installation, before I spend the time and money to get a proper fit and paint job.

Don't come to my local dealer. They have 4 different models and colour of Z just waiting for a new owner. The used 40th only has 7000 km! Sweet baby Jesus!

Yes, did that. He is also the shop everyone local recommends. He's too busy with insurance work :shakes head:

I spoke with a show car fabricator. The guy he uses is in Perry Sound. 4 hours away from me... Highly, highly, recommended. :ugh2:

The last two issues I had, the tech couldn't replicate. The tech then talked to me about the issues and said, no problem, we'll order the parts anyways. Awesome service so far. Hopefully your dealership looks after you.

Fire 06-05-2012 01:49 PM

Ok back. No real news. The dealer received the e-mail that my 2012 order was not picked up. I knew that. They don't have any info as to how these orders are going to be handled as 2013's. They don't know if they will be given preference or run alongside 2013 orders. They do want to reappraise my car and I can tell ya they best make me a decent offer else I'm done with them.

Too bad you don't get a government bailout discount on the Chevy.

Get your ghetto on sir, I know I would!

I'm afraid the dealership I go to will have a new '12 blue in stock and then I'll be in negotiations again. :shakes head: But you saw my ideas and I'm leaning towards that right now.

That makes two of us..But for me not entirely I still believe that Japanese manufacturer's primarily (Honda, Toyota, Nissan and their luxury lines) are top notch in reliability and quality. I do however would pick a American Truck over any japanese counterpart..

P.S. Detailed the interior of my Z today

Hope they take care of you Huck. There's a TSB on the hatch spring, so they should replace it regardless. :(

kenchan 06-05-2012 02:36 PM

ordered up a saitech or watever it's called cup mount for my Z. it's going to hold my digital recorder while i take vids with the gopro. :p

now i need to get a mini clapper. :icon17:

last week i just wrapped the bottom end of the recorder and stuff it into the cup holder. it worked very well to isolate noise.
