Where the heck can I find install instructions for the tubes? And YES, Mr. Kenchan, I used the search feature! ;) Wasn't able to pull anything up.

I don't have instructions and have never done it, but i heard you should be careful because it's a tight fit.

Yep, sorry i can be of no help to you. post it in the tech area and I am sure someone can tell you how to do it. From what I understand, you just need basic tools and it doesn't take long.

The handling is brutal on a stock HHR. My wife has one, I dropped it 3" and added a rear swaybar. It has helped immensely! It's still an under powered bucket... I might need to use it tomorrow to pick up my amuse sides and rear bumper... It's bitter sweet :icon17:

it was weird flooring the gas and crawling up to 80 on the freeway...and also fearing for my life when turning at more than 30 mph

I've been very busy today. The only thing I did with the Z was look at it. I'm finally sitting down, enjoying my first coffee of the day

The first thing I noticed after we bought it was how floaty the rear end was while driving on the highway, that's what prompted the suspension mods. It handles the on-ramps and highway speeds much better now. Most of the time I can get the little box at highway speeds before entering now, just by carrying speed on the ramp. My wife loves that little POS, but lately she has shown interest in the Juke, and absolutely loves the Abarth. The problem is, she works for GM, so she wants to stay loyal to her employer...

Hey everybody :hello:

Going to do oil change on the Z tonight. First one to do myself on the Z.

On a driving note, I was coming back from San Marcos today on I-35 and both eyes suddenly went blurry. It was seriously scary for a moment before I was able to exit and stop the car. Ten minutes later I was comfortable enough to drive again. Called an optometrist friend who described my symptoms exactly and called it an "ocular migraine" :ugh2: She said not to be concerned unless vision loss is completely black or if they happen more than very rarely.

Don't be jealous ;) . When I was your age I could only dream of owning the car you own now. You're doing very good for yourself.

Wow! Scary stuff Jar! Glad you were able to get stopped safely. Hopefully that will be the only time you suffer those symptoms.

Have fun wrenching

Yeah, that is scary. I've had something like that to em before, but I wasn't driving at the time. Glad nothing bad happened.

Other than the 18 minutes of bliss to and from work today...
I got a envelope full of neon coloured shoelaces for my shoes.
