Its crazy when you're licensed how easily you can be sued. Gotta keep it classy and stay on the good side. :)

Sweet!

I have a Hero 2 and 32gb class 10 card, but Mrs.GaleForce is hiding them for a special occasion. I wonder if I can use them and repackage it without her knowing?

nice! thanks for the tip on power.

for setting are you using R3 720/30fps? my hero2 will be mounted on the headrest using wide angle.

i have life insurance...not very cheap. :ugh2: but hey, i made the amount not enough to get myself killed. :icon17: :eekdance:

I tend to shoot at 60fps for car stuff, although it makes for nearly unmanageable files :shakes head:

30fps often winds up looking 'off' if you do anything at speed.

I also do prefer the coverage angle from the 720 mode

Ken just to go back to some stuff you mentioned like mounting the cam on the car. This is my rig, sort of a dif spin on Steve's setup

http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l2...5304654526.jpg

Now I use the mic mount off that handle apparatus, which is called the Opteka X-Grip. I bought it for like $15 or something. Great for handheld applications. So this is the mount removed

http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l2...6308364673.jpg

This is it mounted under the rear fog. The little fastener that holds the bumper down underneath the fog is popped out and the mount is installed there

http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l2...6308339123.jpg

And finally with the mic attached.

http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l2...6308319462.jpg

I like and dont like that the mic is battery powered. BUT I wouldnt want it running off of my GoPros power since the cameras battery already doesnt last as long as Id like. I have ran the mic for a total of at least 5 hours now and the batt is still fine. I ordered 2 extra when I got it for only a few bucks.

Alchemy, why would you want to record that exhaust sound? :stirthepot:
