You and me both (on the working aspect). I truly feel that this is historically the longest week in the history of mankind. :(

On a lighter note: I'm getting my wheels repaired this weekend.

Mr.Alchemy, it's only Thursday today, go get it fixed ASAP and have fun for the ZdayZ!! No matter how far is the shop, you will have to get it fixed in here or when you go back, and it's even a longer drive for your return-home-ride. The difference on the cost probably is only a little.

Google or ask around the other Z drivers, get it fixed before the weekend, you still have today and tomorrow!!! :tiphat: :tiphat:

I say we do what Ms. PintSize (not her real name) suggested. We can all send Mr. Alchemy a few bucks, right? It must completely suck to make ll the plans for ZdayZ just to have them peed upn by a stupid gasket.

Let's all rally around our brother who could use some love and help.

Send us your PayPal address, Mr. Alchemy.

:iagree: :iagree: You guys can count me in too!

hi mr.alcheng! :hello: yah, i tried several areas on my G but could not find a good spot. the cradle has too much depth so my hand would hit it when i enter 1st gear. the phone only works in horizontal (landscape) orientation in the motorola cradle which was a bummer cause it's too wide to place on the side of the dash where my proclip base is located...:ugh2:

i think i may have to wait until the Proclip mounting bracket for my phone is available. theirs is usually verticle (portrait) orientation to saves space, PLUS, the phone actually works better in portrait mode for me. :p they have powered ones, so i will get that and use smart profile to automatically turn nav, bt, shut off wifi, etc based on time.

Mr.kenchan, sorry to hear about the mounting issue... I know you don't like suction-cup, but I think for now, you could just use it as a temp-fix in the G, I think it will give you minimum blockage on your forward view. Just for now... :hello:

Looks what I received in mail today.....

Good Morning Everyone!!!! :tiphat: :tiphat:

hey mr.alcheng, nice shirt!

one other thing i found was that the droid4's mic input was not as loud as my droidx on the receiving end so i need the unit mounted up pretty close to me.

i may just get me a new HU anyway. lol not sure yet, but the AVH4400BH would be a nice upgrade from my 4100 i got like 2yrs ago. ...if i can source just the pioneer BT module to add to my 4100 for cheap, i would consider that route too. so far ive only seen like $175 for the thing. at that price i would rather buy a new Nuvi with BT and mount it in the cubby. i know for sure the 4.3" nuvi fits in there without having to take it off the bracket. i can just shut the cubby door and it will hide completely inside. :)

i paired to the nuvi1490 last night in my Z. from that unit no issue hearing or speaking. :p i dont usually take calls while in my Z, but with this setup and smart profile turning on BT every weekend during the hours i pull out my z, my phone will be paired automatically. :yum:

Guys, lol, i just read your messages and completely appreciate it:tup: Thanks for the help but I do have the money to fix it if I really had to. So I have to miss out on some driving, sucks but oh well. Me being grounded just means more pics of the action for you guys when I get home!

What Im worried about is doing damage to the engine somehow by having this leak. Its quite loud and coming from the header/testpipe gasket. Will it harm anything other than my gas mileage and a little performance?

Again guys thanks for trying to rally around me I truely appreciate it:tup:

Mr.kenchan, I will suggest you might as well go for a AVH4400BH then paired it with your droid4, more simple and thus an upgrade for your G, instead of mounting so many stuff around the dash/console area thus your G will look like the Enterprise :ugh2:

And getting new gadget is always.... :yum: :yum:
