Morning boys. :hello:

So the gasket I blew yesterday happens to be the one between the header and test pipe:( Car sounds terrible and is gonna be parked pretty much for the rest of the trip. Vacation ruined, just my luck....

Alchemy it's just Thurs. Is it possible to find an exhaust shop and get something made up?

Fire 05-17-2012 09:30 AM

Just checking in. Have to get some microfiber towels and get detailing. Pint nice job on the mods. Keep it up.

As you know the closest shop around here is prob pretty far away. Plus for a shop to rip the test pipe out and replace the gasket would take all day and prob cost $300 or so. I dont know what to do, Im pretty pissed.

Ok, I'm willing to pitch in a bit for you. Maybe everyone here can as well? You shouldn't have to miss ZDayZ for this dude. Especially after driving all the way out there. Take Paypal?

:iagree: Me too.

Nick911sc 05-17-2012 09:53 AM

Alchemy, I feel your pain brother... I hope everything works out.

onzedge 05-17-2012 09:56 AM

I say we do what Ms. PintSize (not her real name) suggested. We can all send Mr. Alchemy a few bucks, right? It must completely suck to make ll the plans for ZdayZ just to have them peed upn by a stupid gasket.

Let's all rally around our brother who could use some love and help.

Send us your PayPal address, Mr. Alchemy.

Pintsize725 05-17-2012 09:58 AM

Hope he answers soon. I can also do Chase Quick Pay if he's set up with them. Maybe even Western Union if it speeds it up.

Looks like he cubby is the way to go...

hi mr.alcheng! :hello: yah, i tried several areas on my G but could not find a good spot. the cradle has too much depth so my hand would hit it when i enter 1st gear. the phone only works in horizontal (landscape) orientation in the motorola cradle which was a bummer cause it's too wide to place on the side of the dash where my proclip base is located...:ugh2:

i think i may have to wait until the Proclip mounting bracket for my phone is available. theirs is usually verticle (portrait) orientation to saves space, PLUS, the phone actually works better in portrait mode for me. :p they have powered ones, so i will get that and use smart profile to automatically turn nav, bt, shut off wifi, etc based on time.

We can do mods on our kids Big Wheels. :bowrofl:

hi mr. gale! oh i see... hummmm.. ive not worked at companies where they have unions, so i can't really comment. actually, i try to stay away from unions.

i think going solo is a good way to make extra money.
