I only waited because I fear the unknown. :p

Are your PSS on yet?!

Ahh, you worry that perhaps the guys are gonna go "there"? Meh, we keep it clean.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ok, on to the PSS

Yep, they're on, and it's bittersweet! :):(

Tires are awesome, and much quieter than the stockers (granted the stockers were down to nuthin'). I'll know more once I start to wear 'em in. :)

Wheels are damaged. :crying: Why does this sh!t keep happening to me?! ANY time someone touches my wheels the fark 'em up! :crying:

I had a pre-install inspection, and we both agreed there was no damage on the wheels. Then, on post inspection when I pointed out damage on three of the four wheels...they denied that it had anything to do with them. That it was "impossible"! Dude said he'd take it next door (to the car wash) and have them "buffed out". I said "that's great, but it's not going to repair the damage".

Deny, deny, deny....:shakes head:

Once more the dude was all "that couldn't have happened here" and I stated "THEY.....WERE.....NOT.....DAMAGED. We inspected them together".

Needless to say I have the number of their mobile repair guy. They didn't even have the common courtesy to apologize.

fffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu uuuuuuuu Tire Kingdom!

Brought the Z in to get detailed after a week of not being able to drive it (work trip).
However, I'm opting to go to play int he first softball game of the season (dirty, dusty place) and it's expected to rain the next 4 days. Bad timing for a detail appointment.

Also gave up going to autocross tomorrow.

WHat is wrong with me.

Mr.happytheman.... sorry to hear what happened on the wheels, aren't they using touchless mounting system there?? I hope the damages is not very visible... and I hope the joy of riding with PSS will overcome the memory of damaged wheels!!

I decided to give them an opportunity to take care of me. Shoulda listened to my gut. :shakes head:

Oh they will most definitely be paying for this. I assume they will likely lose money on me. They quoted me $141 before the work was performed, but when I showed 'em how much it was supposed to be (according to their contractual obligation with Tire Rack) they brought it down even lower than it should have been. A mere $114.

Edit: This isn't my first rodeo with damaged wheels.

I've been trying to look for a car mount for you and after some research through some PDA forum (including the famous xda-forum), I am suggesting you the OEM Droid 4 car mount by motorola. The OEM one comes with a single arm means it is more sturdy thus it will have less vibration.

Got a call from the service department today, most likely the Z won't be ready until next Tue or Wed..... :ugh2: Driving the Altima right now, but the sunny&warm weather just making me missing the Z very much..... :crying:

hey mr. alcheng- thanks! yah, i think im going to just use the motorola cradle for my droid4 for now and get the ball join adapter that i can screw onto the Proclip base. there's not many areas i can mount a bracket on the G, and i dont want to use the suction cups.

sorry to hear about your delay'ed pickup on your Z. :( yah, altima's just dont cut it. it's like driving a camry. :ugh2:

thanks, mr.happy. yah, if you do get this setup try another version than the 1490's. mine sync'ed up after a system update, but some folks were having problems pairing. might want to look in the 2xxx or 3xxx series. :)

that sucks. did you take picts during the pre-install walk through? can use that as proof. regardless, the store needs to pay for the fix. might even want to consult with your insurance agent and file a claim.
