You all missed a great thread on Fairlady badges..
It got shutdown, but for a while, it was the funniest damn thread.. Of course the wheels came off the bus and it crashed...But man it was funny.. |

FYI...Do NOT come home with glitter on your face, and say it was from Twitter.. And that you were "tweeting"... |

Who owns the red Z? Looks aggressive. |
My first job was at a Michael's arts and crafts store so I know all about glitter on the face. Used to have to organize the fake flower section and they all had glitter on them. Then you'd get called up to work the register and every customer would ask what's up with the glitter.
And of course its hard to get the glitter off so your friends laugh at you the next day at school. :bowrofl: Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2 |

It started rough, but we all got so funny, I was laughing for twenty minutes... Then it ended, sadly... It took off like a wildfire in the summer time... |

Love me some Rudy's BBQ  Great to meet RWilliams who made it out in his recently acquired 2012 PW Nismo. There were also honorary appearances by Mrs. Pint's 350Z-driving husband and my wife the daily Z driver finally making it out to her first forum event. Here's a couple more pics (had to get a shot from the rear despite the poor lighting - out of these shado will like pint's rear end best :bowrofl:) |

Why do you think I stay away from the Chevy dealer, or the Mercedes dealer ? It would only cause me to buy something with a Z on it, Z06/ZR-1/ZL-1, or something AMG, and really I shouldn't ... So by staying away from them, I cannot get talked into buying one..All they have to do is say, Do I want a test drive ? The used 350Z I bought years ago, they let me sign a waiver, and I took it home over night for a test drive...They got me good. by the morning, I was signing papers.. I am a smart businessman, but killer cars are my weakness...So I gotta stay away.. Be strong Pint..Your car is killer... |

Stick around tho, eh? |

I also found him on another Camaro site that I check out...He is a God over there now with a Black on Black ZL-1, and frankly, he should be..We are knighting him " Sir Fire"..:tiphat: What a sweet car.... |

Mr Alcheng reminds me of a quote from the lesser-known John Steinbeck novel "The Grapes of Rep".
“Wherever they’s a fight so hungry people can eat, Rep-Cheng will be there. Wherever they’s a cop beatin’ up a guy, Rep-Cheng will be there. If Casy knowed, why, Rep-Cheng will be in the way guys yell when they’re mad an’—Rep-Cheng will be in the way kids laugh when they’re hungry n’ they know supper’s ready. An’ when our folks eat the stuff they raise an’ live in the houses they build—why, Rep-Cheng will be there.” |

I'm in Boston this weekend with the wife, celebrating my MIT 25-year reunion. I decided to pickup some MIT stickers to put on the Z. One will fill the space that I left after removing the right sticker after putting it on the left side. Oh well, 370Z forum on the left side and MIT on the other. I guess that it was meant to be that way.
I bought a few other things, too -- a mug, a few water bottles, a sweat shirt, a few T shirts, etc. I might as well. The 25th doesn't come around every day. ;-) What's interesting is that my wife's grandfather was an MIT graduate, and his first name was Warren (passed away recently at age 90). My middle name is Warren. Go figure. Truth is stranger than fiction. :icon14: As part of the 25, MIT also provided a giant beaver ring. I told my wife that I'm going to order a big gold chain with large links and put the giant ring on the chain and put it around my neck. Then, I'm gonna :driving: around in the Z with this big rope and ring around my neck. Actually, the ring is supposed to be a paper weight or something. :icon14: Also, a funny thing happened. We parked in a compass parking lot that was filled because all of the Alumni this weekend. An Asian fellow in his van parked right behind me, and I told him that he couldn't park there because I couldn't get out if he did. We compromised. He provided his phone number in case we returned before he returned from work. We decided that more likely, we would return before he would return so it would work out. We asked for his name, and he said, "Just call me Z." What are the odds? :icon14: Man, the Z is a bit dirty. I gotta find a safe car wash or wait until I get home. :( Now, we're relaxing in the hotel. I'm watching the Bernie Mac (RIP) Show. The wife is in the bathroom. This will be a slow day today mostly. Tonight is our class banquet. It'll be good to see folks from our class that I actually know. We already met a few yesterday at the clam bake. |
