I ride the train between HAR and NYP quite frequently.

Dang...

Mr.zforce- thank you for the input on train food. :icon17: is this comparable to airline food or more toward olive garden? Lol

Thechidz 05-03-2012 08:32 PM

drove to work and back... luckily it's a beautiful 40 mile mountain run

Spohn you are the track ho of the board. LOL Cruise night was pretty boring cause another storm cell moved thru and chased most of the people away. It didn't rain but did have lightning.

Damn! Nice! Are you going to custom make mounting brackets for the rear splats?

Guys the food is just ok, they upgraded the menu about a year ago and those items are yummy.

Donald do not eat at the Peppermil in Reno go for Atlantis. Check out the observation car on the train....its a hoot.

Did you see this in Roseville/Rocklin?

It was me!!!

Same here...trespassers do not normally survive. Last year The Chicago Super Liner from San Fran to Chicago had a three year long drug smuggling ring get busted. Trespassers always delay the trip 2 hours while Amtrak investigates. These occurrences are rare on my line. Been commuting for three years now and enjoy the relaxation.

Sorry for the short review and maybe two sided. Better than airline food but not as good as Olive Garden. Unfortunately for Mr.onzedge, he is on the Super Liner that goes to Chicago and the food is yuck. I take the Capitol Corridor daily from Roseville to Davis. Capitol Corridor Trains ::

Here is the Capitol Corridor food menu.

I did.....the train has PSS and Koni's. The Mich Man was strapped to nose of the engine.

Did you arrive back tonight or spending the night in Reno? Was there any snow at Donner Summit?

happytheman 05-03-2012 11:00 PM

Looks nice Huckleberry. Did you have any tint on her before?

Srenity 05-03-2012 11:01 PM

2 bucket wash for the lady tonight. I used an industrial leaf blower (backpack style) from work to dry it. Now I have to buy a leaf blower (probably not one of that crazy or even gas powered for that matter) to dry my car as I am now in love with this technique. I also tried to take some pictures of some engine bay bling I recently added but the lighting did not allow for the pics to come out right. Driving 5 hours to sac with it tomorrow so the shiney wash will not last too long but she needed it.
