I just picked up my Z from the body shop where they were fixing some paint chips.

BEFORE: (pic upside-down)

AFTER: (phone camera flash)

At second glance, you can see where they masked it off and painted.. but in person, I couldn't notice at ALL. It looked perfect. The picture makes me want to re-check it at lunch.

Either way, they gave me a loaner car for 2 days, cleaned the whole interior and exterior (seriously cleaned everything inside-- all surfaces), and it was a rate of $42/hour which came out to $214 with taxes included. I thought it was pretty awesome

Much better Mr.onzedge :tiphat: Long overdue for a haircut.

As mentioned in earlier post....the panel next to the fang is removeable, held on with some clips. It was removed as seen in photo (botton right) along with the panel on the body to open up air flow to the filters. Rain is not directed to the filters as the filters are off to the side. And if a torrential downpour occurs I already have (temp solution) some rags in a sandwich ziplock bag that I can stuff in the opening until the rain stops. The car sounds much more throaty and I can hear and feel (butt dyno) the difference. Master Tech - Colin (Mr.onzedge' son) confirmed this with his test drive of my car.

Liking the Z more and more after every visit to Mr. onzedge :tiphat:

At least the Fedex truck didn't win best in class. That's what happened to me and it sucked. :ugh2:

Alchemy, thanks bro, def gonna add to my collection. Hopefully it will mount to my onborad head rest camera mount S-bar. I also read the reviews about the background noise...humm. How was the sound level? Reviewers on Amazon complained about it...but it may depend on the camera being used. Gonna hold off on the XGrip for time being but liked it after I saw the demo video. Hero2 ??? When did they come out with this? I bought mine in 2011 but don't recall the big sticker on the front with Hero2. Checked GoPro website and did not see any differences. :tiphat: Reps coming your way, along with Steve and Mr. onzedge (for previous post). Btw guys for the record, myself nor Serenty did not get the Michelin hand stamp the other day at Mr. onzedge's place. And we also yelled five times KONI, and still no stamp.

ZFORCE, I was shopping an external Hero 2 mic as well. I also took Steves advice on the Audio Technica Pro 24cm. Received it yesterday. Looks like a good little unit. Did a few sound checks on my PC with it and it sounds pretty good. Def some white noise in the background though. The price was right and the size is nice. Its very small and should be easy to mount. Cant wait for my Hero 2 to come in so I can really test it out. Just sold my first gen Hero on Monday and my new Hero2 is on order:tup: Here is a pic of the mic. Its mounted on an OPteka XGRIP that I picked up too for handheld applications. The GoPro will mount on the bottom below the mic.
