Yes -- it is a friend of my sons. It has a Stage 1 tune (exhaust and intake) and has mess than 25,000 original and documented miles. The thing is in amazing condition.

I used to poo-poo Volvos also. First for their looks and second because the name is only a few letters different from one of my favorite female anatomy parts. Anyway, these cars can handle quite well and go very fast when modded properly. I was impressed.

LOL Well I'll stick to thinking that they are heavy old peoples cars. As long as I don't get passed by one on the track I'm good.

I remember a friend of a very good friend of mine had one back in 98 or so. I had a 84 300zx at the time and that slow POS went like a rocketship compared to that DeLorean. Mr. DeLorean actually lived pretty close to where I grew up. Parents of a girl I used to date in high school knew him I think....

Now that Im on the topic of the famous here are my "encounters with fame"

I ALMOST rented out the former home of Mr. Merv Griffin in Califon NJ. Right down the street from where I went to H.S.

I once walked past rapper Redman in a mall in Colombus Ohio

I punched Jim Breuer in the arm at the Stress Factory in New Brunswick NJ

Darren Daulton (baseball player) denied me and a few friends autographs when we saw him at the Camden Aquarium back in 5th grade. Azzhole, I hate baseball anyway:rolleyes:

I once rode my snowboard down a trail at Mountain Creek (ski resort) with olympic medalist Danny Kass. Popped a smooth backside 180 off a jump and got props from him:icon17:

May have a few others but Im drawing blanks. Time to end this ramble anyway:rofl2:

onzedge 04-28-2012 06:08 PM

Dang, Mr. Alchemy. My only brush with fame was nailing Olivia Newton John in 1982. :icon17:

I am kidding. I only slept in in her bed and she was not there.
