Twice in the last 3 weeks (tints n plates), Its my sexy exhaust that gets them wondering...I got cuffed and harassed yesterday after leaving my school parking lot at about 9PM. He did like 3 different sobriety tests and asked me like 5 times "how much marijuana have u had today son."...while he was moving his little pen i just said "im sober"....said "i can tow your car right now for DMV fraud, you know" i just responded "no you cant"...searched my car and asked a bunch of stupid questions about performace and gas mileage n said "okay good thing ur not drunk so im just going to give you a little homework assignment." :facepalm:

Never had a front plate on my 06 350Z or on my 09 370Z, as long as you are not an idiot you wont have an issue.

Got my FI HFC and CBE installed today.......it sounds awesome. ou should look into it. As for my plates, I zip tied the sucker on the grill and it looks ugly as heck. Will drill the holes and install the holder once the vanity plates i ordered arrive. I'll be a boys scout and follow the rules. Done with dealing with cops. Too old for that crap.

Well have u guys thought of having a plate but in a sticker form? I have seen an Evo and a Lamborghini having one of these around where I live.

I have not had a front plate on my cars here in CA (where it is required) since 1982. I've received 3-4 tickets for speeding during that time but never been cited for a lack of front plate. However about 10 years ago I did get a fix it ticket. I lived near a school and knew to keep my speed down as traffic enforcement in that neighborhood was pretty heavy. I was driving down the street doing about 20 in a 25 zone and could see up ahead a motorcycle patrolman had pulled over a car and was writing a ticket. The officer saw me coming, stepped out into the street and motioned me to the curb. I thought WTF ? When he was done with the other driver he wrote me a no front plate ticket which was a total chickenshit act. I put a plate on, paid the fine, took it back off and haven't had a plate on my cars since. But I also don't commit many acts to draw attention to myself to invite a ticket either. Except for the weasel motorcycle officer who was on a ticketing frenzy that day.

I took my front plate off. I really was distasteful. I'm gonna put it in the trunk, and say it keeps rattling loose........?????????????
