Get before and after dynos
Looks neat. |
I have this on my G and sold the Gen 3 to get it .. The fitment on the Takeda is way better with no rubbing issues .. The thinking behind the one filter is more surface area .. The only thing that I did not like about the kit is the couplers .. Cheap and tear easily .. Purchased some cheap eBay 4 ply and could not be happier .. Good choice op ..

Interesting.

Closer to the TB might be a more practical place to measure the Air Temps for accuracy before they hit the manifold. However, there is a greater risk of heat soak that far up over the exhaust manifold.... just my :twocents:

the maf location is pretty clear in the picture, the opening is in the bottom of the pipe, similar to the IC piping from GTM kits. looks pretty good, I would be curious to see the before/after dyno.

I remember seeing development pictures of this awhile ago. In for dyno results.

Interesting design, and $400 is a killing price!
 In for pics and Dyno too. |

I don't think the single filter design is an issue... as long as the filter stays clean it is always going to suck air through the membrane over trying to pull it from the competing TB. I'd be more concerned about the flex/shock of the system than anything else. That filter could take a potential beating if there isn't enough flex and it might eventually tear. I'm interested to see how this goes.

Suckers are now giving 15% off stuff till Friday. They just sent me the code EMR1212T so that makes them $378.67 shipped... Dang good deal. Thinking about ordering me some Eibach sway bars for $170.
