Well that first thread had most posts from when the 370 was being released, EVERYONE seems to always hate when their favourite car gets a makeover, then they love it lol.
I for one wanted a 350 for so long, when I first saw a 370 I was like....yuck. But then it grew on me quickly, realized all the improvements (especially Interior) and that it resembled the 240 and then I was hooked, couldn't stop thinking about a 370.
