Don't get me wrong though. I love my 370 as well. Just needs a few more mods!

What is it specifically you are not feeling or feeling less than from the 350?

Loved the 350Z, and i only have a few miles on the 2009 Touring/Sport 370Z.

The 350Z was raw and faster feeling...I think it will just take time to get used to the 370Z. I do love the 370Z Sport/Touring.

But I really think people are lame that get a 370Z and then hate on the 350Z.

Other issues in life are involved, and not just the car.

Just cause i don't have a G35 or a Mustang, or whatever...I would only hate them because they beat me,haha..

But to hate a car ? I could see hating the 280Z 2 plus 2...

All 2+2 Z's are abominations.

Having had a G35 and I have to say it... even a 3 5 altima SE. One thing they both had the Z or G37 don't have is initial torque response. Shift the VQ35de into gear and this huge torquey pop happens and the force you feel from the torque is truely V8 comparable. I will have to agree that somewhere in the VQ37HR there was a serious drop in torque feel down low.
But the Z34 handling is by far leagues better than the 350z. It feels way more neutral. Steering feel is perfect. Its noticeable faster at the needle. And the overall design is an improvement.
Both Z's are awesome though and minus initial torque, (which I miss as well) the Z34 is what the Z should be as a progressive design. Maybe they will redesign the cams for 2013 to provide more inital torque???

Excellent points. Yes I do not have any real miles on the 370Z yet...I did put thousands on the 350Z. I will take better handling and smoother power if that is what the difference is. I have no real time in the 370Z yet..

I am just used to tons of torque and throttle response from my 71 Z/28 , and the 350Z satisfied that feeling. Felt like it would run with my car. I am sure it would..

The 350Z Enthusiast had way more power than braking, or cornering on certain roads...Tires and Brakes are key..

But I will spend some months getting used to overall driving of the 370Z.. It is still a newbie...6000 miles on the car, but i have 30 miles driving..

Oh I forgot they made a 300zx 2 plus 2 also I think....As desirable as a Toothache..

I remember when I saw the 350z at the NAIAS New york auto show in April 2002. I was impressed with both the Z and the RX-8. I'm wondering what you didn't like back then? What were you comparing it too???
The mustang was fugly!!!: the camaro looked like a studio prop from the 50's classic War of the worlds. The Trans am took the corny out of the look of the camaro and was probably the only cool looking affordable sports car. But only the high end firebirds, the base ones were still fugly... Camaro/firebird was going out the door anyway at the time... the corvette was too expensive and there were no japanese sports cars except the new FWD-Only wacky doo eclipse and the low-powered miata. The Z was debuting at 25k with 287hp and 280hp for the auto. A mustang back then had what 290-300hp with a v8! The Z was hella impressive with both looks and performance... you are definately ENTITLED to your opinion, but I'm just thinking back and wondering... what could have been better than a Z in 2002 lol.
The mazda wound up disappointing due to its lack of power but on intro it just looked hot.

Actually back then i wasn't comparing it to anything...It was new and I needed to get used to it...All the other cars you mentioned...PUKE....Would not own one...They are plastic cars..

The cars I drive are not a dime a dozen around here.. You see every other cookie cutter Car, camro's Dodge's Escilpe's..but the 2009Black Touring/Sport stands out in the Crowd..

And the Z/28 is as rare as it gets..

You are right, those other cars are not worth the money,IMHO..

But I had a great time in the 350Z....My friends with Muscle cars got handed their hats One's or twice, commenting that the 350Z looked like it was stuck to the ground in corners...

Nissan has done a great Job with the car and it's improvements.
