Can't decide, I want them all!
Hey guys I can't decide which wheels I like the most, I was hoping you could offer some suggestions, give me your opinions. I'm not really trying to build a track Z, I was hoping for more of the show car shiny feel, but I don't have the money to go super show, I just want some wheels and some CF love. To give you an idea, I was thinking evo-r CF fang cover, a CF lip spoiler, hood, and rear spats or diffuser. I've got the PW Z, and I want to do black accents. What's your opinion on these wheels?
5Zigen 5ZR. These are discontinued, but if I could find a set in my size it wouldn't be a competition, for me these are the perfect balance of aggressive, sporty, simple and beautiful. http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h9...s/743de30b.jpg I'm really liking a lot of the wheels from AM Forged. Has anyone had any experience with them or know anything about them? http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h9...s/9530fe2d.jpg http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h9...s/34ad0f2d.jpg http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h9...s/e2aadfe8.jpg I think these may be my favorite out of all the AM Forged wheels http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h9...s/9575ab80.jpg And some more... http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h9...s/82af0dad.jpg I also like the simple, mean looking design of these Stances http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h9...s/954d08fd.jpg These Avante Gardes are really sexy too http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h9...s/9d635ae6.jpg What do you guys think? There's also some wheels by a company called XXR (wheels are 552 or 522 I think) and they look like the Volk TE37s, but at like $200 a wheel I question the quality and safety of them. Does anyone know anything about em? http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h9...s/e71bf5d1.jpg --- I am here: http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=28.354318,-80.686595 |
When it comes to rims, I wouldn't cheap out...

my opinion is they are probably all pretty heavy... which is fine if your car is a dd. :)

Not you Kenchan! But everyone knows those are the only 2 places you spend time
|
Out of all of those, the only one I would go for is the AM forged wheel with the black center, thinner spokes, and the polished lip. Otherwise, I would rather stay with the stock sport package Rays to be honest.

Lol yeah I left it like that so that someone could see it and be like "hey I live next door to you let's meet up!" lol there's no 370Z's around here, just a handful of 350s. Plus if I'm selling something it gives the person more confidence in buying if I'm not trying to hide where I'm at :) or if for some reason you decide you really don't like me, COME AT ME BRO

My preference would be not to get any wheels with fake screws in them. that's just not classy. I do however like the stance wheels. also if you like avant garde look at the m310. those are awesome.

Enkei's are light, cheap and track proven ;)
|
You dont want XXR's.
If you are tracking you want something LIGHT. Try finding a forged wheel instead of anything cast. TSW Nurburgrings are light and affordable as well as the Forgestar F14's that I personally run. Also like sfearl1 said maybe some Enkei's. |

If and when I buy rims for my Z they will be the Forgestar F14's. So don't buy those, I don't want to see to many other Z's with them :p

I really like the stance rims too, but I've never heard of them before so thats why I was asking. I found a few people on the G37 forum that were using them and liked them. For the 19" stagger figment they are about $1600... |

From what you posted, I'd go with the Stance or Avant Guard
Probably not in your price range (not in mine either at the moment lol) but I am dying for some SSR Professors MS1 http://www.ssr-wheels.com/images/ms1/black_lrg.jpg |
^^ mmm, SSR :yum:

For sure a long procedure...Second guessing.... I wish all you the wheels of your dreams...It is not easy to choose. I love the blingy stock 19" rays on the Wife's 370Z.. So she loves them too, so i am off the hook there..Tires we will need by next winter ..i will make sure of that.. |

Your wheels are Killer....:bowrofl: |
Yeah I'm digging those forgestars, and that's saying a lot because I normally hate that type of design.
...I don't know, I just can't decide. I'm super picky with wheels, and I really need to see them on my car to be able to make an informed decision. Looks aside, are the Stance rims reliable? I noticed they make coilovers for our cars, but I've never heard of them before. --- I am here: http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=28.392109,-80.778889 I made djsekz my bitch. |

I also had to trust the builder on the "stance" .. I know what you mean..We went 18 x9, and 19x10 on the Z/28..the 19's on the Sport 370z look great to me, so far.. i may try to drop it down more like the rendering, but it does not rub now, and it corners like it is on train rails... |
