Probably similar with some of the components in NISSAN too.

US is very restricted on this, Canada is a bit easy on this one. :icon17:

Our gas pedal is made by Bosch,& for Toyota,L.H.D. cars are made by Magna[problematic],R.H.D. cars are made by NipponDenso[no problem].

Maybe all your cars are fully built in Japan. My 370Z engine was assembled in Petaluma California in just 46 working hours over 11 days. A better job seems to have been done. Now I can go 1000 miles on a quart of oil instead of 500.

The joys of oil consumption.

Nope, Mr.kenchan, I have to disagree with you on this one. :shakes head:

The Steering Lock is designed AND built in Japan for the first one/sample, then they brought that sample to China and ask them duplicate and manufacture.

mr.alcheng- a little research will net you the truth about the designer and origin. :) it's not a japanese design nor is it made in china.

Why does it matter? Are you a racial profiler or just a run-of-the-mill troll?

Maybe legitimately curious. The 370Z is about heritage, and he is curious of the nationality of the man who penned it. Until we see some slurs, why take offense?

No offense taken. I always wonder why people ask about others' race/heritage and what motivates them.

I am sorry if u guys feel offended. No hard feeling, but I am just purely curious and want to know more about the designer.

So anyone know the answer? thks

Mr.onzedge, I think what Samuel90 means is R.R. was borned in Canada but his race is not Canadian, translate the same question to Z, Z is a Japanese brand but is it design/R&D(born) by Japanese or American or someother.

But yes, it does look VERY ODD posting such a question on the first post.

Yes you can tell all your Honda friends that your scissor jack, A/C vents, map reading light, etc are more JDM than their car.

It's assembled in Japan. I think I remember something about the conceptual design came from Nissan California, but I could be mistaken. Technical design was most likely Japan. As for parts they are made by the lowest bidder for making Nissan parts that meet specs.
