When did the 370z become the dark side of the 350? :)

Ever been to "that 350 forum?" :icon17:

After visiting that forum you'll contemplate slicing your wrists.

Just add a lip and transfer your wheels over to the 370Z and you'll love it

OP: I like the 370 over the 350 but if the choice were a paid for car, or spending more on an improved 370, which you will continue to granny. Stay with the 350.

Is 120K miles a lot for a 350?

Footloose301 02-03-2012 10:53 AM

No. You can do 200,000 miles on cars these days, easy. I sold my 1992 Celica with 286,000 to some Mexican workers that were building a house on my street. Its still running around town nearly 6 years later.

I like the 350z, it is fast, sporty, fun and reliable.

I like the 370z, even more. It's faster, handling is better thus more fun, it's a much better package overall.

Especially on high speed such as around 90mph to 110mph, the 370 will just keep pushing you, you can be confident to go faster, I didn't have that with the 350, in fact, the vibration and noise(yes noise, not engine note) from the VQ35 was so bad that I have to back off above 5k rpm.

370z is much stable on high speed and cornering is more fun too.

Not to mention the extra 57 horses on the 370, LOL, why won't you like it, right??

Except you found the clock is weird (I am actually found it is quite useful), you can 'feel' the interior of the 370 is better quality and style than the plastic-cheapy 350z's, when I first test drove the 350z, I looked at the interior, I was like 'mmm.... Japanese plastic...'

I feel the 370z interior is like 'mmm.... getting there.....'

Have you test drove the 370 yet? Give it a shot, I bet you'll like it for sure!!

:happydance:

Fixed.

I agree with everything else. I had an '05 and don't miss it. Of course the last three months with it were like a divorce, not a love affair.

I don't like being asked to convice someone to make a decision they should make based on their own thoughts and feelings. Keep your 350 and keep the 370 more "elite" as you say.

The worst thing that can happen to the 350 is the 370. It made the car extremely outdated and old.

Which is why I'm about to jump overboard from that ship and swim ashore to here, 370z land.

Well sort of at least, I'm actually a mod on another competing nissan forum, so I'll be floating around for both.

Care to elaborate on that

I wouldn't go as far as saying the 350 is extremely outdated. Granted the design and output are different, its advantages over the 350 aren't anything to write home about. A slightly quieter cabin and the same interior features as the predecessor except with prettier buttons and a clock pod.

Oh, and the optional button that makes you go 'vroom' on the downshift.

DIGItonium 02-04-2012 08:04 AM

RSX is still faster. Miata has better doors.

Welcome to the club! The cabin of the 370Z definitely feels more sporty than the 350Z. Something about it feels very good. I wasn't too crazy about the gauges at first (plastic hats), but it doesn't distract me at all once I got in for a test drive. Of course, I'm not a big fan of the orange lighting, so all of that has been swapped out with white LEDs.

Stock exhaust tone is meh, but if your 370Z exhaust was stock then it's not too big of a deal. Since it's quieter to start with, you can always change the sound with aftermarket exhausts.

You should definitely evolve the 350Z's looks with the 370Z.

Same here. Orange is ugly and old, green is worse. I want a red/blue mix.

Mustangs have the ability to change their dash lighting :stirthepot:

Before long, the next Z will do the same to the 370...
