how damaged was the car? I'm guessing there was some suspension and possibly frame damage from the force of the impact?

The autocross event I go to is in a huge airfield in Massachusetts. ( devens airfield - Google Maps )

There really is no place to crash because they put cones so far away from buildings, etc and there is just grass around. I feel safe.

EDIT: Just realized you can see the skid marks on this satellite image :tup:

I like autocross and will be doing it again this year. I went to an event where a guy wrecked a 3000gt the week after he lunched a ZO6 with an instructor with him. 2 weeks 2 cars 1 person, nobody else so much as scratched thier paint. Could it have been the driver? LOL what a tool.:bowrofl:

I did. Only for point by passing but this is perfect for getting your feet wet. You can even insure your mods.

Crazy thing is there was a ton of runoff, and yet like 4 people almost wound up in thr ditch. Hell, the kid I lent my car to gave me a scare

Funny thing is, that vid shows how far the s2k guy slid. **** really speeds up when you get on grass
