Thanks guys! Yeah I took them off. I was installing new brake pads and fluid so I had to take them off anyway. I wanted to paint the calipers at some point and this just happened to be the perfect time to do it.
The red really stands out from far away especially with my dark colored wheels. I love it! |
i just stuck an IRadar on my dash and I have to say im digging the phone mount and the radar is pretty slick.

I put 3M clear vinyl on both rocker panels for about $200. My black paint needs all the protection it can get.

Awesome thread OP!! I have read every single page and sorry if i post some stuff that has already been said but... How about pullies, lowering springs, motor mounts, diff mounts, turbo timer, i have a blue apex'i in my 350z and its on nitrous only, it looks sick and people are always asking what it is and what it does... This is still a good mod even if your not forced induction, its always good to let your car cool down after a hard run. This mod is kind of bad lol but i have a kill switch for my windows because i have 5% tint on them so whenever i get pulled over, officer asks me to roll up the windows and i pull the "darn the motors went out again" card... works everytime haha. Im just throwing out ideas that i have done on my 350, torque damper? Not sure if there are any makers of this yet for the 370... nismo valve caps, front strut bar, gt spec under braces, race gas  lol. Muffler delete, painted door handles, cf wrapped A and B pillars... Im about out of ideas lol

I think it is only for iPhone but really do not know for sure. the dash mount is a suction cup type with weird gummy stuff on it so it sticks super well on our rough plastic dash. That sucker does not budge! I've had a few detectors and so far this one works pretty well, but as I use my phone for turn by turn directions (WAZE app is AWESOME BTW) the detector goes into background mode when i have WAZE running and I'm not sure I get all my warnings. I'm still playing with it and trying to figure out how to make it work best for my setup. apple store has 14 day return policy so I've got a few more days to goof around with it. |

3M di noc cf wrapped panels. $20 for a 12" X 48" sheet. TONS left over
http://www.the370z.com/members/edub3...-22-20-365.jpg got the first one done in about an hour. took a little bit to figure out how to strecth/heat/manipulate the material so you dont have any wrinkles http://www.the370z.com/members/edub3...-32-57-991.jpg second one only took me about 45 min http://www.the370z.com/members/edub3...-09-10-957.jpg re-installed: http://www.the370z.com/members/edub3...-42-31-674.jpg http://www.the370z.com/members/edub3...-43-17-581.jpg the hardest part was definately wrapping around those tight radius curves at the front of the panel and figuring out what to do with the inset area for the window switch. just ended up trimming a nice line around it. trying to form 1 piece down inside that are was impossible |

Looks good. I have some Di-Noc left over from my headlight project, and I was thinking of doing this as well. Looking at how yours came out, I think I will do it this weekend. I was also thinking about the silver ring around the shifter. Based on the pliability of the Di-Noc, do you think it would work on that? |
I tried to put Di Noc on my phone case and failed miserably :icon17:
It was hard to get it around the curved edges, but probably didn't help that I was using a hair dryer and scissors instead of a heat gun and xacto knife. :p |
