I just picked up my car from the alarm installer. I had the VIPER 5901 installed in my Z. I didn't have them connect the remote start because it's another$180 in labor that they wanted, plus I probably wouldn't use that feature. I know some of you will say its unsafe but I don't leave my car in gear. I would never do that. E brake always. But that fancy feature was not in my budget considering that I would never use it.

Alarm works great so far. Only had a few minutes to play with it though. I like to be able to know whats going with my car when I'm in a store just in case an old lady backs into it haha.

yah, it's a habit of mine to put the car in gear when parked so i would definitely not enable remote start. hahahahaha. :D does your alarm have tilt sensor?

Removed interior peices to make way for Carbon Fiber Element clear reflective peices arriving tomorrow. Will be sending tach and triple gauge hoods back to CFE to be covered too with my core peices. Pics on my journal.

Be careful removing those triple gauge hoods. I'm REALLY interested in seeing that reflective CF mounted in your ride! :tup:
