Then my wife went to work, I had a little bit of time before I needed to pick up my little guy, so the choice was, do more drywall work in the basement, or, try my new pressure washer and foamer out.

The pressure washer and foamer won! Just a quick wash, followed up with some Prima Slick. I'm waiting until I have more time so I can do a proper detail.

Anyways, here's a quick iPhone pic before I put it back in the garage.

looks great! hey you prima huh? cool. about the pressure washer.... it can wash off your wax/sealant. i dont use high pressure when washing my cars. just a fireman's nozzle and use water hose pressure.

when i rinse i dont spray and use the gushing mode to let the water sheet off. :)

GL with your basement drywalling.

Thank you guys!!! I just took a glance and a pic to show you guys cos I had to run more errands.

I am very happy on both. The spacers are nicely fitted, could do 15 if really want to push it but I think 10 is my liking.

The spoiler is another nice piece. The bodyshop tech was amazed by its color-match because of the PW layers paint.

Overall……

Now………… mmm……… what's next on the list………… :roflpuke2:

Yeah, I just used the pressure washer and some Adams soap in the foamer. The coat of Power Lock was still sheeting/beading like crazy. I applied it during my winter storage prep. After I foamed it I let it sit, then did a quick 2 bucket wash. Finally I rinsed everything using my hose with fireman nozzle attachment. Just like you said, gushing. Worked like a charm

As for the drywall. I have it all put up, the spare bedroom is just about ready for primer and paint, then I still have to tape and mud the entertainment room. I'm almost done :icon14:

Hey guys. Hows it going? Kenman know all about getting upset with others. I was pi$$ed this morning. Mine is at bosses that don't support their employees. After putting in back to back 14 hour nights all I hear is how we can do more faster. $crew them eh? Sorry like I said I was upset. :shakes head: Decided this morning to step back and just be a worker drone and let somebody else take my spot as charge.

ZMan8 04-04-2012 05:34 PM

Got a package from Z1 waiting for me at home :)

I would love to spray the primer but I have all the equipment for rolling, so rolling wins. Plus I'm not taking any money away from the mod fund by buying a sprayer... Although I could really use one to stain the fence.... Hmmm.

Yes, the angry boss routine doesn't always get the desired results, hence rapid turnover where I was working. All the talented people say "screw this" and move on to better jobs. Hope things calm down for you Mr.Fire. :hello:

Fire- sorry to hear. :( i hate managers like that... they need to show appreciation and compassion...that is motivation. money will make people happier, but then people get use to having money so without appreciation they still quit.

think of all the people and property you saved, fire!

does your hardware store loan out sprayers? might want to look into that. :D i suppose it might be better to use rollers from ventilation perspective.. not sure how many windows you have. my house has an english basement so it's like half-arsed :icon17: (windows above ground).

so tonight i found out my wife's not using the Fit tomorrow (and i need to run 2 errands) so going to use that to go to work. that means my G's off until next Monday so i cleaned her up real nice. speedshine, window cleaner, slicked the wheels, and dressed the tires, leather care'ed the seats, etc. :yum:

so while i was cleaning the G and using the Fit tomorrow got me thinking... uh oh.. nono. :icon17: i should maybe get a AT beater(?)... this way my wife can also use it if something happens to the Fit. smart move, ey?
