Washed my Z yesterday with this stuff that we talked about before:

It works really well and there was no leftover residue after the wash. it has my official seal of approval!

One thing I noticed is that it has a really nice scent and it really suds up more than the Turtle Wax version I was using prior.

Does it seem like it actually has wax properties also or was it just a good wash?

There probably is but I wouldn't use it to replace actually waxing the car the old fashioned way.

She sat in the garage all weekend.

What did I do to my Z today? Well, I added the front plate to see if I liked my concept of cable ties and bumpers would work out and look good. The second thing I wanted to make sure is if I did this would it vibrate or caused any issues. Not bad looking imo for a couple cable tie mounts and cable ties. It seems to be be really on there and doesn't look too bad if you have to show your plate. I'm thinking with the commuting I'm going to be doing in the Z it might have to be on the car most of the time.

All you have to do is cut the ties to take it off for the weekend shows. Then when the show is over you just reinstall with the cable ties that you can have in the car and handy.

Quicker than using a screwdriver. ;-)

Plus, the angle keeps the front end down (j/k ... he, he, he)

I also loaded a bunch of music/photos on SD Chip for the DVD/Stereo head unit.

The only thing I've found that I don't like about this Pioneer head unit is in the sun it's hard to read with my sunglasses on. If I boost the brightness it's great during the day... But, I have to drop it back down at night or it lights up the interior way to much. It's much like if you were to drive down the road with your interior light on.... really bright. Well, at least I can adjust the level on my head unit.

On my JVC unit that I had prior to purchasing my Z, I could adjust the brightness based on a pre-determined schedule. Does the Pioneer not have that option? I mean, Garmin GPS units have been doing that for years.
