im waiting for proclip to send me ETA for the motorola droid4 holder. :D i think im going to upgrade from my droidx soooooon. :p

This wheel spacer discussion has me thinking and worried now. I have H&R stud replacement on the front, but Ichiba non-stud replacement on the rear. Should I be concerned? Should I spend the rest ot the week fretting and obsessing, only to purchase stud-replacements for the rear?

Now I think I am going to replace my rear spacers with stud-replacement types. While I am at it, I am thinking about going with ARP studs - is this overkill? Probably, but overkill and I are well acquainted -- all I have to do is look at my photo equipment, book collection or cd's.

droid4 is a very nice smartphone, consider your requirement is a physical keyboard. Otherwise, I am looking forward to the Galaxy SIII. I am still using my SII, just got it since last Jul and love it so far. :tup:

honestly i think you would be going backwards if you went to stud-replacement type while running stock 19's, unless you have stud-replacement spacers with separate centering rings.

if you're running aftermarket lug-centric wheels like mr.alcheng, then either one will work just fine. :)

especially for the rear when you have to swap to donuts it's not that difficult to remove the bolt-on spacers out in the field. if it's the front then you'll have to jam something in the disc brake in order to remove the spacer unless you have an impact at all times. :icon17:

yep, i dont like 'typing' on faux keys on the touch panel. i prefer physical qwerty keyboard. :tup: also, i prefer to buy american even if made in china. :p so for me, apple for my computer needs (MBP), Motorola for my smartphone needs, and bb for my work needs.

Mr.kenchan, how about those spacers have the "lips" that stick out for centering???

i call those the single molded ones. those work fine on lugcentric wheels like your vossens. you use tapered lugs instead of your stock lugs with washer, right?

that means less stress on the centering lip and wont break off. the stock wheels relies on that lip for stability. this is why sometimes they shear off under heavy load.

not sure about tapered lugs, but they have to use smaller size lugs because the lug-hole on the vossen is smaller than OEM.

Took my hood to the body shop to have my Carbon Signal vents installed. I hope they can pull it off for me. A little paranoid.

Spohn a little paranoid is good. I did my body work myself after talking with my body shop and getting a very negative vibe. :ugh2:
