I never ran a front plate on my Vette. I actually couldn't find it to turn in when I sold it. I worried a few times about it but was lucky and didn't get ticket. You can see that I run a plate on my Z.

My father got a ticket for parking at a parking meter with a handicap sticker and not paying to park. He recieved a letter hoping his day in the city was good.
