sad the bugs are back is deatailer after a wash the best to try to scrub em off with?

Fire 03-13-2012 11:32 PM

Hi alcheng, 370. I've used detail spray and water. Wet with water and let soak then use detailer spray. There are also washes that are made for cleaning off bugs but be careful it is easy to get sratches. Never use those scrub sponges.

Unfortunately Kenman just left he is the detail king and would have all kinds of cleaning recommendations.

It helps if you can need a thick coat of wax up front. Bugs will wipe right off then!

I might drive it to coin wash and spray them off and go home finish it with wax. ok idea?

That's what I do when it's dirty like that.

You might want to look into a clear bra if you use it for a DD. The paint is soft and gets abused.
