Default Interior Cleaning

wasnt sure if this should go here... but..

I know there is a cleaning thread, but its for the exterior. How bout the interior?

I bought Armor All Protectant Wipes, what i've used in 3 past cars with no problem, and wiped most of the interior of the car, and it looks like it ruined the interior with streaks and miscoloring.

So what do you all use to clean your interior?

also, what material is the dash? is it vinyl or leather? i know the inserts in the door are suede..

You posted the same thing in a different section of the forum. What gives?

Plus, there's already this thread which you might find useful if you haven't seen it already: What kind of Armorall do you use...

All i've used is a swiffer house duster on the dash and console and everything looks great. For the seats I've used some leather wipes. As for the suede I don't know, but thankfully mine hasn't gotten dirty yet.

My only issue with Armorall and other shiny interior protectants is that as soon as you apply it once, you have pretty much committed yourself to doing it for the life of the car. It starts to look crummy and streaky in between uses. I prefer to use just a regular interior cleaner with no shiny qualities.

for the dash board, i just use meguiars protactant and for the leather, i forget what meguiar brand i use. the interior is easy to clean but that depends on how deep you want to go.

when i do it, i just do everything and take my sweet *** time to do them. steering wheel and the dash board first, then it's the middle section, trunk, storage area, door panels, and finally the seats. normally do it at around night time because i don't want to sit and drive after i cleaned up.
