If I had a penny for every time this question was asked, I'd have at least 5c right now.

Base model needs to step up the game.
Lower seat rails, thinner head liner, thinner seat cushion (for the tall guys), 380-400hp, brembos, oil cooler, flat undertray, less weight.

That is all very easily changed.

No kidding. I enjoy my z so much more now that I have put recaros on custom mounts and have a smaller steering wheel. My head doesn't hit headliner anymore and my hands don't hit my legs when I turn! Nissan really fails us bigger drivers but not as much as Mazda or Honda do in their sports cars.

Seriously -- I was goofing off at a Subaru/Mazda dealer a few weeks back and cannot even get into a Miata.

That's what he's saying. Mazdas and hondas are worse to get into than nissan.

:hello:Oops my bad... ur agreeing with him. Lol

Guess it depends on your build. No problem in an s2k with a helmet, can't fit in a z without dropping the seat ~2inches

Then you're not double-clutching fast enough and it's pooling.

Jeez. 370Z didn't feel much more cramped than my 'vette for height, and I think we got a guy who was 6'4 or so into the car with helmet at spring mountain.

Personally, I like that the 370Z is nice and fitted. I'm 5'10.5" in sockfeet and 190# (cutting to 180-185). It should fit like a glove. :driving:

It must suck being tall.

*Feels better about being short now* :bowrofl:

yeah, it's really something you don't realize until you start trying to rock a helmet in different cars. I really don't mind having very little headroom, but having your head up against the liner sucks.

I can imagine, and yeah, it's amazing how big that helmet is in a car.
