I have doubts about pure electric cars becoming the mainstream norm, but fuel cell hydroden/electric cars do show promising concepts. We just need to get the infrastructure in place. Battery tech development is starting to plateau, but I'm sure there will be some kind of breakthrough. Just look at how cell phones have evolved due to consumer demand. 10-15 years ago it was the size & weight of a brick and couldn't even send out a text message. Now I can tell Siri "I want to see boobs" and it gives me directions to the 5 strip clubs near me... that's friggen awesome!
The likelyhood of cars becoming autonomous is looming. The most ineffeciant part of the automobile is the driver. In the future, it won't really matter what fuel or power source is used. Driving will become a recreational activity like walking or jogging. |
Yeah like I've said before the z won't disappear because the z, g, and fx share the same platform. It doesn't make financial sense to get rid of the z but not the others. But I'm glad to hear a 200 hp z is not in the future. Maybe all the people complaining about low z sales will stop freaking out now.

No thanks, no pansymobiles disguised as a sports car for me. This is why its important to upgrade weak parts in our Z's for durability. The gas engine as we know it will be over inside of a decade. Our cars will be valueable classics as well as every other muscle/sports car of today. The world will be one giant honda CR-Z/toy prius and Teslas will continue to cost a heart and lung. The classics will rule beause the future will be us being forced to buy the nissan Z-ev pansy edition. Lmfao! |
Electric Sports Cars: just another good reason to nix the EPA.

lol @ the guys saying they won't own an EV sports car.
Guess what, people were saying the same exact thing 30-40 years ago when every sports car was a V8. Now the majority are going to be running i4's. |
in 40 years cars wont even have a steering wheel...
