what kind/year of viper were you looking at? I been in a 94 gts and a 09 acr, damn things are a monster. Like someone already said the T56 tranny is amazing. Only thing that sucks is the amount of spark plugs you gotta change...lol.

I say do it.

2008+. I have noticed cars with next to no miles on them, ie 2009 156 miles, and a full tilt new price.

How often on the plugs? What I want is a Viper/Corvette with GTR maintenance and reliability.

A rear wheel drive, front engined, manual. This is why I did not but a GTR in the first place. I'd likely take an all wheel drive MT GTR, but no way an auto.

I like the idea of not being a Corvette/Porsche person who has already been sized up as an A-hole by simply owning one.

Look at Mike's stable...I don't think he would give a damn considering what his wife is driving. :happydance:

Her car has zero maintenance costs and is totally unmodded. Keeping it totally stock and letting BMW take care of it, and it will be replaced when the warranty is up

My C6 was pretty trouble free. I just didn't enjoy tracking it as much as the Z. It didn't really have any soul to it.

depends how you drive it. If you are always racing it, more often. Not sure the exact mileage, but i changed mine out 2 times in the year i had it (once when i first got the truck and second time i switched to 1 step colder for the nitrous). Also coils and wires help alot at the top end. It's more of a bitch to change the plugs on the srt-10 ram since the brake cylinder is in the way for the 2 on the right bank. If you get a viper, talk to Tony at JTSVP...awesome guy and has a **** load of parts for the vipers.

^ I think I've seen that viper on Ebay or Autotrader. Seems like a good deal. From what I remember, this guy has been trying to sale this thing for a long time.

gbrettin 12-17-2011 10:34 AM

Wow. that is a really good deal. Looks like an awesome thrill ride!

Also, it shows that mods really do nothing for value. lol... errr, you have to snag the right person.

FL 4Motion 12-17-2011 06:36 PM
